NIT Silchar has released the shortlist of candidates selected for GD and PI for MBA Admission 2026-28. The GD/PI rounds will be held from April 27 to May 1, 2026. Check the list at nits.ac.in.

NIT Silchar MBA GD PI Shortlist Released

The National Institute of Technology Silchar has released the provisional shortlist for MBA Admission 2026–28, including 249 candidates across all categories. The shortlist was published on April 7, 2026, and shortlisted candidates are required to appear for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds scheduled from April 27 to May 1, 2026. The selection rounds will be conducted in offline mode at the Department of Management Studies, NIT Silchar.

Candidates must report as per their allotted date and time and carry the required documents. The MBA programme is a two-year full-time course, and admission is based on overall performance in entrance exam scores (CAT/MAT/CMAT), academic record, and GD/PI rounds. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST). The final merit list will be released after completion of all GD/PI rounds.

The National Institute of Technology Silchar has released a provisional shortlist of 249 candidates for the MBA admission process across categories including Open, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS.

The Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds will be conducted in offline mode at the institute’s Department of Management Studies from April 27 to May 1, 2026. Candidates must report at 9:00 AM on their allotted dates and carry valid ID and required documents. The GD/PI process will assess communication skills, analytical ability, and management aptitude.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD) and have valid scores in CAT, MAT, or CMAT. Final selection will be based on overall performance in entrance exams, academics, and GD/PI rounds.

The MBA programme fee is approximately INR 2.39 lakhs for two years. Candidates are advised to check their allotted schedule carefully, report on time, and prepare thoroughly, as absence or late arrival may lead to disqualification.
