IIM Sambalpur has opened admissions for two Bachelor of Science programs: Management & Public Policy and Data Science & Artificial Intelligence. Applications close May 31, 2026, with personal interviews scheduled June 10-30, 2026.

Sambalpur has officially launched admissions for its Bachelor of Science (B.S.) programs for 2026. The institute is accepting applications for two specialized four-year undergraduate programs: B.S. in Management & Public Policy and B.S. in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence.

Interested candidates can apply online at iimsambalpur.ac.in with the application deadline set for May 31, 2026. The application fee is ₹2,000 for general category and ₹1,000 for reserved categories.

IIM Sambalpur's B.S. programs are designed for students seeking specialized undergraduate education in emerging fields. The Management & Public Policy program integrates business dynamics with public governance, while the Data Science & AI program focuses on developing data-driven innovators.

Both programs follow the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 guidelines and offer flexible exit options after each year, allowing students to earn certificates, diplomas, or degrees based on their progression.

Candidates must have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% marks in both Class X and XII (55% for reserved categories). English language proficiency is mandatory for both programs.

For the Management & Public Policy program, applicants require a valid IPMAT 2026 score from IIM Indore, while Data Science & AI aspirants need a valid JEE (Mains) 2026score.

The maximum age limit is 20 years as of July 31, 2026, with relaxations available for reserved category candidates as per government norms.

The admission process consists of three stages: online application submission with required documents, shortlisting based on entrance exam scores (IPMAT or JEE Mains), and personal interviews conducted by the institute.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews where the panel assesses various parameters and assigns scores.

The final merit list is prepared combining entrance exam performance and interview scores, following government reservation policies for SC (15%), ST (7.5%), OBC-NCL (27%), EWS (10%), and PwD (5%) categories.
