IIT Mandi Integrated MBA Admission 2026 Begins; Apply by May 15

IIT Mandi opened applications for its Five Year Integrated MBA program on April 15, 2026. Eligible candidates must apply by May 15, 2026 at iitmandiadm.samarth.edu.in. Personal interviews are scheduled to begin from June 6, 2026.

IIT Mandi Integrated MBA Admission 2026 Begins

IIT Mandi School of Management has opened applications for the Five Year Integrated Master of Business Administration (IMBA) program for the 2026-31 batch. The application window opened on April 15, 2026 and will close on May 15, 2026 at 5:00 PM. Candidates must apply online through the official portal at iitmandiadm.samarth.edu.in/imba/. The program offers dual degrees: BBA Analytics (Honors) and MBA in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence.

Applicants must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD). Mathematics and English are compulsory subjects at Class 12 level. Candidates must have appeared in JEE (Main) 2026 Paper 1 and obtained a score equal to or higher than the category-wise cutoff for JEE (Advanced) 2026. The program has 80 seats including 20% supernumerary seats for female candidates with Government of India reservation norms applied.

The admission process involves shortlisting candidates based on their JEE (Main) 2026 Paper 1 NTA score. Shortlisted candidates will receive interview invitation letters via email. The final merit list at IIT Mandi will be prepared using an aggregated score with 70% weightage for JEE (Main) score and 30% weightage for personal interview performance. Selected candidates will receive provisional admission offers via email.

Application fees are INR 2,400 for male GN/OBC/EWS candidates and INR 1,200 for female candidates. SC/ST/PwD applicants pay INR 1,200 regardless of gender. Foreign nationals from SAARC countries pay USD 100 while non-SAARC nationals pay USD 200.

The IMBA program offers an innovative curriculum integrating management principles with analytics, data science, and artificial intelligence. Students gain practical exposure through two industry internships, with one being six months long. The program allows exit options after three years with a BBA Analytics degree or after four years with BBA Analytics (Honors). Serious entrepreneurs can take a sabbatical of up to one year to pursue startup ventures leveraging the institute's entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Candidates receiving admission offers must accept and deposit the required fee by July 2, 2026 to secure their seat. Failure to deposit fees within the stipulated date will result in forfeiture of the seat and the next candidate on the waitlist will be offered admission. Selected candidates must physically report at IIT Mandi on July 25, 2026 to complete the admission process. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected and any misrepresentation of information will lead to cancellation of candidature.
