Free University of Berlin Admissions 2025: Application Deadline, Eligibility & Fees

Free University of Berlin offers 180 programs, including 81 undergraduate degree programs and 99 master’s degree programs. The University has enrolled 34,400 students (as of winter semester 2024/2025). It offers admissions in 2 intakes: Winter Semester and Summer Semester. The application deadline for the Winter semester for UG programs is September 1, 2026(for unrestricted admissions). And for the PG Programs, it is August 15, 2026. The Deadlines for PG programs in the Summer Semester are February 15, 2026 (unrestricted admissions). For the UG courses, it is 1st March, 2026 (unrestricted admissions).

Some of the top courses offered by the University are Master of Science [M.S] Finance, Accounting and Taxation, Master of Science [M.S] Computer Science, and Master of Science [M.S] Data Science. The Free University of Berlin charges no tuition fee for international students. However, students are required to pay semester fees ranging from 326 EUR to 358 EUR ( INR 33744 to INR 37057) per semester. Free University of Berlin Admissions Requirements

Free University of Berlin accepts applications via Uni-assist for both UG and PG Admissions. The Uni-Assist charges an application fee of 75 EUR (INR 7773) for the first application and 30 EUR (INR 3109) for each additional application.

Free University of Berlin only accepts applications for master’s degrees via Uni-Assist. Applicants must select a maximum of two master's programs. The table below shows the required documents for admission to a master’s degree at the Free University of Berlin
