I found the course syllabus to be extremely vast and one can be spoilt for choices. Students have complete freedom to design their curriculum and even their exam schedule. The curriculum subjects were excellent for those who want to pursue industrial research in biotechnology. I found that there were fewer basic research subjects and more applied subjects. It was updated too, in that the professors would teach from their own areas of research, hence always providing up-to-date knowledge and research application of the topics. I was unfortunately unable to gain any industrial exposure or research experience since I was there during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the year 2020-21, my semester tuition fee was nil, and there was a semester contribution of around 145 euros. This included the Student Union costs and a semester ticket for free travel in public transport (buses, trams and trains) on weekends in the Munich travel network. However, non-EU (international) students enrolled in winter 2024-25 sessions and onwards will have a tuition fee of 2000 to 3000 euros per semester.

The course is up to date in my opinion. There are many modules to choose from as per our wanted outcome so it is flexible. Some of the modules are seminars where we are encouraged to work on a project, sometimes in groups or sometimes individually which helps us sharpen our research, problem solving and analytic skills. Various other courses also offer industrial exposure.
Currently, there is no tuition fee. I only have to pay 85 euros per semester but from winter semester 2024, the tuition fee would be about 4000 to 6000 euros per semester.

The course syllabus changes every year since the latest version is taught to the students. Course is very vast and covers most of the things that a student will need after the bachelors.
When I joined there was no tuition fees but since 2024 winter intake an additional fees of 4000 euros will be added

I believe it's quite an updated course, and we are studying all the relevant course which is needed for today's time zone . The academic research here done is pretty good and the university itself is the top universities in Germany.
85 euro per semester
It is very relevant, but Tit is also very general , does not touch any topic in deep but covers all the topics. There was no industrial exposure, but since it was tied up with NTU, we had the lab facilities and research opportunities are given to all students.
4000-5000 SGD per semester
The total number of credits required to graduate is 120 credits. However, I must say that education and especially exams in Germany are a bit different and a bit tough as compared to India. Students in the informatics department atleast take 1~2 extra semesters to complete their master's since getting 120 credits in 4 semesters is quite tough. The professors are of course world-class. Education is top-notch. Lots of assignments that enable practical learning. The course curriculum is designed in such a way that students get theoretical as well as practical (research-based or industrial based) experience. As for the Faculty Student Ratio, I am not entirely aware of it, but as far as the classes are concerned, the teachers and PhD students will answer any question you have. They organize special exercise classes where you can discuss assignments or your doubts. But getting hold of professors outside the lectures is something of a feat in itself since the Profs are very busy.
The program has tuition fees of around 150 euros per semester or 300 euros per year approx which is quite nominal. These are some perks of studying at a German Public University. The real challenge is the living expenses. Munich or Germany for that matter is expensive to live and if you do not get any scholarship then you would have to open a blocked account with 10,000 euros per year. This account is also required for student visa applications and Residence Permit applications in Germany. Most students take loans from banks in India but apart from that take part-time jobs from software developers to delivery boys (there is a minimum wage per hour concept in Germany) so the pay is quite good and lots of students manage their expenses (and leisure activities ;)) using that money.
The syllabus covered from basics to advanced to applications.
There is no tuition fees for this program.
Course curriculum is well updated and they're still trying to improve wherever they can. I think an elective specially for the social science research would have been better and maybe there'll be such an option in the coming years
There is no tuition fees. There's a semester contribution which is about 144 euros to be given before the next semester starts. This is for the student union and semester ticket.
One of the best courses for student interested in computer science and it’s application in the field of engineering. You get the chance to learn in depth about programming, high performance computing and how to apply the knowledge in different fields like ML, CFD, FEM, Mathematical Bio etc.
144 Euro per sem
It is a very fast-paced course for enthusiasts in aerospace engineering and those who wish to establish a career in this field
20000 SGD is the program fee.

The Technical University Munich (TUM) accepts both the Goethe Zertifikat B1 and the DSH exam as proof of German language proficiency for their programs.
Hello. Is GMAT required to apply for Finance and Information Management? (My previous field of study was finance)
For applicants from India, China, Pakistan, Egypt, and Bangladesh, the GMAT is required with a minimum score of 640 or a percentile ranking of at least 64.8% on the GMAT Focus edition. However, you can explore the TUM courses to learn more about the curriculum, fees, and other details.
