  • Since I studied at NIT Warangal, the difficulty level I felt was very easy. However, the curriculum was nice. It was a mix of group discussions and projects, individual assignments, exams and some class short tests.
  • Positive: Very nice course structures. Your grade was not dependent on 1 exam alone
  • Negative: In some ways it is quite rigid, as you can't pick and choose multiple courses like in the US
  • Total number of students in my batch: 120 . Total number of indian students: 14

Fees

  • 27,500 Euros for the entire program. I had to pay half in the first year and the second half at the beginning of the second year of studies. I did not have to pay hostel or other charges, as I had to look for housing on my own.
  • Monthly expenses: 850 euros
    • Rent: 350 euros
    • Insurance: 150 euros
    • Transport: 60 euros
    • Groceries: 160 euros
    • Gym and others: 50 euros
    • Miscellaneous: 130 euros

  • The curriculum was moderately hard in general. It was mix of theory and practical case studies. Positive Aspects:
  • Diverse Student Body: The international student population enriched the learning experience with diverse perspectives and cultures.
  • Expert Faculty: The professors were highly knowledgeable and passionate, providing valuable guidance and insights.
  • Industry Connections: The strong industry partnerships facilitated internships and job opportunities.
  • Negative Aspects:
  • Demanding Course Load: The rigorous coursework often required long hours and limited free time.
  • Intense Competition: The competitive nature of the program could be stressful at times.
  • The classes are usually from 9:00 to 17:00, usually 2 lectures. Average students in one class are 60. 10 indians were a part of my batch.

Fees

  • 25000 euros to be paid in 4 installments semester-wise, with 4000 euros as the cost to reserve your place. You can get reduced fees through early bird scholarships and merit-based scholarships. Monthly expenses were around 700 euros—450 euros rent, 100 euros groceries, 40 euros insurance (private), 80 euros public transport, and 30 euros miscellaneous costs.

  • The course curriculum was detailed and personally, I didn’t find it difficult. It was a mix of both and that’s the main reason I chose the program. It has simulations and case studies that keep you engaged.
  • Positive-engaging, real-life applications, more based on reality and not theory.
  • Negative—sometimes repetitive—the first semester is nothing new for a business major in bachelors.
  • Around 150 students for all three masters programs.
  • Around 15-17 Indians were there.

Fees

  • To officially confirm my enrolment and reserve my place in the class, a first deposit of €4,000 had to be paid no later than four weeks after receiving your acceptance offer.
  • This deposit will be deducted from future tuition payments. The remaining tuition fees were to be paid in two equal installments, at the beginning (September) and after the first year of the program. ESMT does not have a hostel.
  • Its yearly. At the beginning of each year in September, we need to pay the fee.
  • The rent and other expenses can vary very quickly. I was staying in a student accommodation so I paid 500 per month in rent and then of course 49 euros for the DEUTSCHLAND ticket and other regular expenses are groceries and insurance. Insurance is around 130 euros if you go with aTechniker krankenkasse.

The curriculum is regularly updated based on the requirements of industry. There is a mandatory internship included in the course which gives a practical hands on experience. There also a social impact project which is done in the final year of the program. This can be done with an NGO or a company.
