Required Exams for Admission
My time studying Masters in Management at ESMT, with a focus on Business Analytics, was great. The course was really interesting, taught me a lot about data and how it applies to business. One of the best parts was how ESMT helps you connect with industry and the alumni. This has helped me to learn a lot and advance in my career.
Course Curriculum
The curriculum and the academics was up-to date with constant improvement based on feedback from students and alumni.
Faculty
The faculties are highly qualified with exceptional profiles. Since the school has great executive programs and connections with the industry, almost all the faculties are directly involved in research or consulting work with the industry.
Campus Life
The campus has amazing master classes with the global business and political leaders. Also, it has lot of business focused clubs like entrepreneurship club, consulting clubs etc. The campus is housed in the historic building which was the former parliament of east Germany and has all the modern facilities.
Placement
Almost all the students find a job in Germany or EU. The university offers multiple avenues to connect and network to find a job. It depends on how well you leverage the network. Median salary is around 60000 euros gross.
Accommodation
I rented one of the private student accommodations in the city. It's a shared flat with monthly average rent of 450 euros and total monthly expenses including rent was about 850 euros.
Exams
My scores: GRE 153 Verbal 164 Quant 4 Writing; IELTS 7.5; Class minimum score: Nil (profiles are assessed individually and scores are not mandatory). I had to submit CV, LORs and answer the essay questions. The questions are mainly focused on you as an individual, upcoming global citizen with polestar leadership qualities. I had a round of interview with the admissions manager. It's mainly focused on your profile, past achievements and future goals.
Fees
My fees was 21,000 euros after the scholarship of 4000 euros.
Scholarship
I got a scholarship but it's automatic. Based on your profile the university gives some scholarship on the fees.
