National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli has released the NIMCET 2025 result on July 25, 2025. Candidates can download the scorecard on the official website nimcet.admissions.nic.in with their User ID and Password. The successful candidates will get an email containing the link to the website to download the Rank Card with the allotted rank.
Download NIMCET 2025 Scorecard
Earlier, the answer key on June 11, 2025. Along with the answer, the NIMCET question paper and response sheet is also available for download. If candidates have any objections against the responses and question paper of NIMCET 2025, they can challenge it on the Login Portal from June 11 (5 PM) to June 13 (5 PM).
NIMCET counselling 2025 will be conducted after the release of NIMCET result 2025. During the counselling for NIMCET 2025, candidates will be allotted seats based on the scores obtained by them. Candidates can check the seat allotment for NIMCET counselling 2025 on the website – nimcet.admissions.nic.in. Candidates also need to carry all the required documents at the time of reporting.
The NIMCET 2025 registration for counselling is expected to start in July 2025. The Counselling process is conducted in four rounds including one special round.

NIMCET 2025 Counselling
NIMCET 2025 Counselling process will start with the registration process and choice filling from June 2025 tentatively. It is an online process. Candidates have to fill their preference of institutions they want to get enrolled in.
Candidates will be provided admission on the basis of their preferences cum merit list. Selected candidates have to report to the designated centers along with the required documents.
The documents required are:
- NIMCET 2025 Score Card
- Personal Certificates
- Marks sheets for class 10th and 12th boards
- Medical Certificates
- Residence Certificate
- Category Certificate if applicable
- Income certificates to be showed by financially weak students
- 5-6 Coloured photographs
NIMCET 2025 Answer Keys
The conducting authority has released answer keys on the official website nimcet.admissions.in. Candidates can download answer keys via the following steps:-
- Visit the official website NIMCET 2025
- Click on the ‘Download Answer Keys’ link
- Enter either your registered email id & password or roll number and Date of Birth
- Downloaded Answer Keys will be displayed on your screen

Candidates can raise objections to the provisionally released NIMCET answer key by paying a requisite fee of INR 1000 per question on the official website, i.e., nitrr.ac.in. Candidates need to fill in the following details for raising any objections:
- Admit Card number
- Candidate’s name
- Question ID
- Correct Option as given by NIMCET in the answer key
- Candidate’s correct option claim
- The logic of raising objections has to be explained
How to Check NIMCET 2025 Results?
To check the results for NIMCET 2025, the following steps have to be followed:
- Visit the official website of NIMCET
- Enter login Id and password
- The candidate’s result along with a rank card and qualification status will be displayed on the screen
- Take a printout of downloaded NIMCET 2025 results
Candidates should note that NIMCET 2025 result will be declared only in online mode. No rank card will be sent through email or other modes of communication.
Qualifying Criteria of Allocation of Rank
NIT follows the following Rank allocation criteria for NIMCET MCA Admission
- Candidates who secure 0 or negative marks in Mathematics or in total aggregates are disqualified.
- The marks obtained in Mathematics, Analytical & logical reasoning, Computer awareness, English are multiplied by a factor of 3,1/2,2, & 1 respectively. Therefore, the total maximum weightage is 1000.

NIMCET 2025 Tie-breaking Criteria
In case of a tie in NIMCET 2025 result for two or more candidates, the following tie-breaking criteria is used
- Candidates obtaining more marks in Mathematics are given priority
- If further tie exists, candidates obtaining more marks in Logical reasoning are given priority
- Even still the tie persists then, candidates obtaining higher marks in Computer Awareness subject will be ranked higher
- If all of the above criteria fails, then the candidate who is elder in age is given more importance
