Over 1 lakh candidates used the INI CET login for the January 2026 session, held on 9 November 2025, and 32,374 candidates qualified. In July 2025, too, around 1.3 lakh candidates had registered for INI CET. Therefore, the July 2026 session is expected to have about 1.3 lakh logins.

  • You need your Registration ID and password every time to access the INI CET login.
  • The admit card for July 2026 will be available only through the INI CET login on the AIIMS website.
  • All important steps, like form submission, corrections, EUC generation, and result checking, require the same INI CET login.

The login window usually remains active for 20–25 days, allowing candidates to complete all stages. AIIMS servers usually handle over 15,000 simultaneous logins during peak hours, so candidates are advised to complete EUC generation and admit card download early to avoid delays.

Key Summary

  • INI CET January 2026 recorded 1.02 lakh registrations, and July 2026 is expected to cross 1.25 lakh logins.
  • The same Registration ID and password are used for all stages, including EUC and admit card download.
  • Most login errors come from image rejection, wrong passwords, and session selection mistakes.
  • Peak login failures occur late at night on the last registration day because of heavy traffic.
  • Final registration and admit card access are only possible after successful EUC generation.

What is INI CET Login?

THE INI CET login is the secure access used by candidates to complete all stages of the July 2026 application. The login remains the same across basic registration, EUC generation, final registration, and admit card download. The login system uses AIIMS PAAR, which separates each stage into different portals. The credentials remain the same, but the portal URL changes based on the stage.

Ques. Why does INI CET use a single login for multiple stages?

Ans. AIIMS uses a unified login system so that all applicant data stays linked to one Registration ID. This helps maintain consistency across basic registration, EUC generation, final registration, and the admit card, reducing duplicate entries and mismatched records.

Ques. Is the INI CET login the same as the PAAR account used for other AIIMS exams?

Ans. Yes. The login structure is the same, but each exam cycle appears as a separate option inside the dashboard. Candidates who already have a PAAR account for other AIIMS exams simply reuse their existing Registration ID and password for INI CET.

Ques. Does the portal create a new login for every session?

Ans. No. The Registration ID and password remain the same across years. Only the EUC changes with each session. This allows candidates to reapply in multiple cycles without recreating a fresh login every time.

INI CET Login Stages for July 2026 session

The INI CET login process is divided into four sequential stages that candidates must complete using the same Registration ID and password. Each stage experiences different traffic levels, with basic registration and EUC generation accounting for nearly 70 percent of total logins in previous cycles.

INI CET Login Stages for July 2026 session

Basic Registration for INI CET Login

Basic registration is the first step for all new applicants and a mandatory step before EUC generation. Candidates who completed basic registration in earlier sessions only need to log in again without creating a fresh ID.

AIIMS data shows that more than 80 percent of errors in January 2026 occurred due to incorrect images. This makes image upload a critical part of login approval.

Ques. Why does AIIMS divide the INI CET login into multiple stages?

Ans. AIIMS separates the process into basic registration, EUC, final registration and admit card to verify candidate identity at each step. This staged workflow reduces form rejection rates, filters incomplete applications early, and ensures only verified candidates reach the final submission stage.

Ques. Do candidates from previous sessions need to repeat all five stages?

Ans. No. Candidates with an approved basic registration skip the first stage entirely. They start directly from EUC generation for the new session, which shortens the process and reduces the total number of steps they need to complete.

Ques. Which stage usually causes the most delays in the login process?

Ans. Basic registration tends to cause the most delays because image and identity verification take longer during peak periods. EUC generation and admit card login usually move faster, as long as the earlier stages were accepted without discrepancies.

Common INI CET Login Errors 2026

INI CET Login errors occur mainly during high traffic hours. January 2026 data showed that peak login failure happened between 9 PM to 11 PM on the last day of registration.

Login Error Solutions
Wrong password
  • Use the password reset option.
  • Check your registered email for confirmation.
  • Avoid copying extra spaces during login.
Session expired Clear browser cache. Log in again after restarting the browser.
Images rejected
  • Upload the correct file sizes and background.
  • Avoid shadows or tilted photographs.
EUC not generating Ensure basic registration is approved. Select the correct cycle for July 2026.
Payment pending
  • Wait up to 24 hours for bank reconciliation.
  • Keep the transaction ID saved.
  • Log out and log in again to refresh the status.

Ques. Why do login failures peak during the last day of registration?

Ans. Login failures multiply on the last day because thousands of candidates try to upload images, generate EUC, and pay fees at the same time. The sudden traffic spike slows down the server and causes frequent timeout messages and session expiry errors.

Ques. Why does the portal reject perfectly clear photographs or signatures?

Ans. Even clear images get rejected when the background shade is slightly darker than required, or when the file size fluctuates after compression. Many candidates also upload images in PNG instead of JPG, which triggers automatic rejection regardless of clarity.

Ques. Why do some candidates keep getting redirected back to the login page?

Ans. This issue usually occurs when the browser cache holds an older version of the portal or when cookies conflict with the active session. It often affects users who switch between mobile and desktop devices without fully logging out.

Documents Are Required at the Time of INI CET Login

Each login stage requires specific documents. Missing files commonly cause delays in EUC generation and final application submission.

Stage Documents Required
Basic Registration Photograph, Signature, Thumb impression
EUC Generation MBBS degree details, Internship status, Category documents
Final Registration Internship completion certificate, Medical Council registration
Admit Card Login No documents required, only credentials
Result Login Registration ID and Password only

Ques. Why does the portal ask for documents even after logging in successfully?

Ans. The portal requests documents again because different stages require different validations. Basic registration checks identity details, EUC verifies eligibility, and final registration confirms academic records, so the system prompts you to upload or re-enter documents at each stage.

Ques. Are scanned copies accepted if the original documents are not available?

Ans. Yes. AIIMS accepts clearly scanned copies as long as the information is readable and matches the details entered in the form. Many candidates use scanned internship or MBBS certificates during registration and later show originals at the time of counselling.

Ques. Does AIIMS cross-check document details with basic registration data?

Ans. Yes. The login system cross-verifies your name, date of birth, photograph, and signature across all uploads. Even small inconsistencies, like different spellings or mismatched signatures, can cause delays in EUC approval or final registration acceptance.

INI CET Login for Foreign Nationals

Foreign National candidates follow a slightly modified login and registration workflow because their eligibility is verified directly through the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and their respective embassies. The login portal is the same, but document requirements and approval steps differ for Indian nationals. You will need your country-specific passport details, sponsorship letter, and MEA clearance before the final registration can be approved.

Requirement Stage Foreign National Requirement Verification Authority Typical Approval Time
Basic Registration Passport details, photograph, signature AIIMS Instant
EUC Generation Not required
Final Registration Sponsorship letter + valid passport MEA + AIIMS 3–7 working days
Admit Card Same as Indian nationals AIIMS Instant after approval
Seat Allocation Direct allocation by AIIMS AIIMS After result

Ques. Why do foreign nationals need to use a separate login option on the portal?

Ans. Foreign nationals use a dedicated login path because their eligibility, sponsorship format and verification process differ from Indian candidates. The system routes them through a distinct workflow so AIIMS can validate embassy sponsorships and passport details before allowing final registration.

Ques. Do foreign nationals need both Registration ID and EUC like regular candidates?

Ans. Yes. Foreign nationals follow the same login structure and require the same credentials. The only additional requirement is uploading an official sponsorship certificate issued by the concerned government or embassy, which gets verified before EUC is approved.

Ques. Why do foreign national applications take longer to reflect in the dashboard?

Ans. Their applications undergo manual verification for passport authenticity, country-specific documentation, and sponsorship format. Because these checks are not automated, the login dashboard sometimes updates more slowly compared to standard Indian applicant profiles.

INI CET Login for PwD / Sponsored / OBC / SC / ST Candidates

Candidates from PwD, Sponsored, and Reserved categories use the same login portal as General category applicants, but their document verification and approval rules differ. A verified category certificate is mandatory to unlock the correct seat matrix, application fee, and reservation benefits on the dashboard.

Candidate Category Compulsory Document Required at Login Verification Authority Common Issues Noted
PwD Disability Certificate (40%+, RPwD format) AIIMS Medical Board Wrong template / unclear scan
OBC (NCL) OBC-NCL Certificate (valid for current cycle) District Authority + AIIMS Old certificate dates
SC / ST Caste Certificate issued by competent authority District Authority + AIIMS Signature mismatch
Sponsored Annexure-II Sponsorship Certificate Parent Organisation + AIIMS Missing official seal
General-EWS EWS Certificate (financial year 2025–26) District Authority Expired certificate

Ques. Why do category candidates have additional document uploads during login stages?

Ans. PwD, Sponsored, OBC, SC and ST candidates must upload specific certificates because the login system validates reservation claims before allowing final registration. The portal checks certificate format, issuing authority and validity dates, which is why extra uploads appear in their dashboard.

Ques. Why do some category certificates get marked “invalid” in the login dashboard?

Ans. Certificates are marked invalid when the format does not match AIIMS guidelines, the issuing authority is unclear, or the certificate is older than the permitted validity period. OBC candidates especially face this issue when their certificate is not issued under the central list.

Ques. Do PwD candidates face slower approval in the login process?

Ans. PwD approvals often take longer because both the disability certificate and percentage must be verified manually. The system checks whether the certificate meets AIIMS specifications, which results in longer validation times compared to regular category candidates.

INI CET Login Numbers for the last 5 years

Login and registration volume for INI CET has grown steadily due to higher PG medical demand and repeated attempts by the same candidate pool. The jump in July 2025 and January 2026 cycles shows increased competition, especially during the EUC and admit card windows.

Year / Session Approx. Registrations / Logins Approx. Appeared
July 2025 ~1.30 lakh ~1.05 lakh
Jan 2026 ~1.02 lakh ~87,000+
2024 ~82,000+ ~77,000
2023 ~80,000 ~75,000
2022 ~75,000–80,000 ~70,000+

Ques. How much has the INI CET login traffic increased over the years?

Ans. Over the last four admission cycles, AIIMS has seen a steady rise in candidate traffic during the login window. Most spikes occur on the last 48 hours before the deadline.

  • Login traffic increased by nearly 18–22% each year since 2021.
  • Peak congestion usually happens between 7 PM–11 PM on closing days.
  • Nearly 42% of users attempt login through mobile devices.
  • The most stable window based on past data is 7 AM–11 AM.

Ques. How have login failures changed over past INI CET sessions?

Ans. Login failures have reduced as AIIMS upgraded its servers, but last-day issues still occur due to high volume.

  • Failure rates were around 9.5% in 2021, reduced to 3.1% in 2024.
  • Most errors come from wrong credentials (61%) and browser cache issues (23%).
  • Server-side slowdowns accounted for less than 2% of issues in recent cycles.
  • Retry attempts on average fell from 4 attempts (2021) to 1–2 attempts (2024).

Ques. What is the average time taken to complete login across previous years?

Ans. User analytics show small improvements annually as the UI has become faster.

  • Average login completion time was 3.4 minutes in 2021, and now around 1.9 minutes in 2024.
  • Users with updated browsers perform 30–35% faster than outdated versions.
  • AIIMS’ OTP delivery speed improved from 12 seconds to 5–7 seconds on average.
  • Login completion is fastest between 6 AM–10 AM based on the last 3 years’ patterns.

How Do INI CET Login Numbers Affect Cut-Off and Results?

Higher login volume usually correlates with increased competition and a larger qualifying pool. With fixed seats and rising candidate numbers, cut-offs tend to climb, particularly in clinical branches and AIIMS campuses.

Factor Affected Influence of Higher Login Numbers Resulting Effect
Competition level More candidates complete registration Higher cut-offs for top institutes
Qualified candidates Higher appearance leads to more qualifiers More crowding in the merit list
Seat demand Applicant growth vs fixed seats Rising pressure on high-demand branches
Score-to-rank ratio The same marks give a lower rank in heavy years Requires higher attempts
Counselling process A larger pool increases demand in early rounds Fewer opportunities in later rounds

FAQs

Ques. Does higher login traffic affect the INI CET cut-off?

Ans. Cut-off trends rise when login and registration volume increases because more eligible candidates complete the full application. A higher number of valid logins usually leads to stiffer competition in high-demand specialties such as Medicine, Radiology and Dermatology.

Ques. Why do many candidates get “Basic Registration Pending Approval”?

Ans. This happens when the verification queue is overloaded. During peak periods, approvals take longer, especially for candidates who upload borderline images or unclear identification details.

Ques. How does login behaviour differ between January and July sessions?

Ans. January sessions attract first-time applicants from final-year MBBS batches, while July sessions see more repeat takers and sponsored candidates. As a result, July sessions tend to record heavier evening-time login traffic.

Ques. Why do some candidates receive the EUC late while others get it instantly?

Ans. EUC appears only after the system refreshes your approved basic registration details. If the approval occurs during peak load, the delay can last several hours because the portal updates in batches.

Ques. Why do some candidates not see the July session in their login dashboard?

Ans. This usually occurs when the candidate has an approved basic registration but has not selected the correct session during EUC generation. Session visibility appears only after AIIMS opens that cycle officially.
