ISBAT 2025 Selection Process
- Candidates qualifying the examination will be called for further selection rounds viz. Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
- These rounds will be conducted by ICFAI and other affiliated management institutes.
- On the basis of scores obtained in all three selection rounds, a final merit list will be prepared.

Ques. Does IBS accept CAT Score?
Ans. There are candidates who are exempted from taking IBSAT. They are directly called upon for IBSAT Group Discussion and Personal Interview. In order to avail of this facility, candidates must have a valid score in any of the following exams:
- CAT
- GMAT
- NMAT by GMAC
- XAT
These exams are substitutes for IBSAT for admission to the management programs at all IBS Campuses.
Ques. How can I get a seat in IBS Hyderabad?
Ans. As per the conducting body, there is no defined IBSAT Seat Allotment policy for any category. There are no fixed norms followed for IBSAT Seat Allotment.
- Aggregate marks requirement for every category is similar, hence even reserved category candidates must secure the same marks as general category candidates.
- The minimum marks required to appear for IBSAT 2025 is 50% for MBA / PGPM Program
- The application fee of INR 1800 is also the same for all categories. There is no relaxation in the application fee for SC, ST, or OBC categories.

Ans. IBS Selection Briefings are a round of seminars that have been developed to provide prospective applicants with information about the courses and programs that IBS offers. These are generally followed by the next stage which includes group discussion and personal interview.
