BVP CET 2024 Exam Pattern helps candidates to prepare for the Common Entrance Test conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth University with ease and clarity. The exam is conducted for all UG and PG courses offered by the university.
As per BVP CET 2024 Exam Pattern, the questions are of the multiple-choice type and you have to choose the answer from 4 choices. A total of 3 hours are given to candidates and they have to answer 200 questions. Sometimes for some courses like Nursing, the exam is conducted for 100 marks. 1 mark is awarded to the candidate for every right answer and there is no negative marking.
The syllabus of BVP CET 2024 varies for each exam and you can refer to the below session for a detailed syllabus. The syllabus for UG Courses primarily covers subjects of the 11th and 12thstandards inclusive of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The syllabus for PG Courses comprises Aptitude and the subject of specializations.

BVP CET 2024 Exam Pattern
BVP CET 2024 is conducted in an online mode and the candidates are strongly advised to carry a black pen and pencil to mark the answers. The total marks of the exam can vary for each stream and the time duration varies accordingly.
B.Tech Courses
BVP CET 2024 Exam Pattern is common for all types of engineering courses inclusive of Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering. The exam pattern is as follows: There are 200 questions for total marks of 200. Time duration if 3 hours for BVP CET. Subject & Score Breakup are:

BBA/BCA
The candidates have to write BVP BUMAT for qualifying the course. The duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes and is conducted for 200 marks.
LLB
The entrance exam is common for BBA, BA and all courses in Law. The exam pattern is as follows: Total number of questions are 100 of total 100 marks. Time Duration alloted is 2 hours. Subject & Score Breakup are:

BVP CET 2024 Marking Scheme
The marking scheme for BVP CET 2024 is generally 1 mark for each correct answer for all exams. The total score of the exam might vary. But the mark allotted for each question is 1 mark. The answer sheet is an Optical Mark Reader.
Marks awarded for Correct Answer – 1 mark
Marks deducted for Incorrect Answer – Nil
If the question is wrong, then the final decision will be taken by the university.

UG Programmes
BVP CET Exam syllabus for UG Programmes comprises of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Aptitude and English. The exam contains questions from 11th and 12th standard books. The exam pattern talks in detail about the different sessions for each course. Given below is the list of important topics under each session:

Important Instructions
The instructions given below must be followed by every candidate during the examination:
- It is important to carry the necessary stationery like a black ballpoint pen, pencil, sharpener and eraser to the exam hall.
- Candidates are advised to carry two or more sets for safety purposes. Rough sheets of any kind will not be permitted in the exam hall.
- The invigilator will provide the necessary sheets and collect them at the end of the exam.
- BVP CET 2024 Admit Card must be carried along with a photo proof.
- Electronic devices of any kind will not be permitted. Read well into the subject before BVP CET 2024 exam.
- Candidates should neatly colour the correct answer with a black ballpoint pen or pencil. Avoid using a gel pen.
- The candidate can lightly circle the correct answer and then colour the answer with the ballpoint pen.
- Handle the sheet with care and firmness. The sensor in the OMR will scan the sheets based on the coloured value.
- Avoid smudges and bulges as much as possible to avoid repeat grading and error.
