Poona College of Pharmacy Pune Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Fourth year and m pharm students are eligible for placement because they have that much knowledge which industry want. The companies like Sanofi and mankind come for placement. 300000 rs is highest placement and 150000 rs is lowest placement students get from college.

Start to 7th semester students to become eligible to campus placement. Their are many placement . Cipla company are visiting to my colleage. Their are more students to join this company. And contain many offers. Their are 30000/- offer contains to this company to offer our college. Students contains above 80% in all 3rd years. My plan after this degree is Drug Inspector.

Average placement for this college is 3 lakhs per annum and various companies do visit this college every year like cipla , Sanofi , etc and does provide a good placement to the students. 85% students will have placement every year. I am still on the path to discover my plans for future and hence it's not still decided.

This college provide a wide exposure by creating different communities which are run by students,this includes ed cell,ispor cell,art club this committee provide exposure to students and enhance their ability to think and encourage the ideas of students. College provide industrial visits which helps to understand about industry Exams are mainly intervals of 1 or 1 half month exam are frequent and timing for unit test is 90 minutes for 30 marks For university exam 180 minutes for 75 marks theory exam Practical exams are easy and it feels like normal practical because of easy it is.

There are placements in college but most of bachelor students go for higher studies. Average package for b pharm is 3,00,000 For M. pharm students it is quite higher as compared to b pharm. Stipend also available.

The college has almost all the pharmaceutical equipment and some of the equipment is not even in other good colleges as they are highly costly. The classroom has projectors and is decent and has charging points as well. There is only one canteen which is small and the foods are also not up to the mark.

I choose the pharmacy course because of my interest in the medical field. I'm for sure a biology student more precisely a zoology student. Faculty is quiet they help you in every situation they clear all your doubts. Lectures are conducted on time. And even exams are conducted on online mode including viva and practicals

Campus placements take place the last semester. Most of the students opt for higher education, which can be MPharm, MBA, MS, either national or international. Companies that visited - Sun Pharma, Abbott, Glenmark, few Startups.

From 3rd year the campus is there. There are a lot many companies. Such as shipla, Dr. Reddy's,... etc The package is from 3k to 10k There is a test based on the company. My plan is to place a campus interview only.

Students get eligible after 7 th semester. Company placement begins from January. Last year companies like sanofi, pfizer, Johnson and Johnson, lupin, cadila, abott visited to the college provided the average package of 5.5lakhs which is very good after bachelors. As my batchmates planned to do master's m pharm because they want to go for research. But i would like to do job as I'm interested in MBA
