The faculty here is pretty good they give their best while teaching.

Dislikes

Yes of course college provide hostel facilities for first to third year hostel fees is on average 1 lakh per annum but when it comes to mess it is very poor food quality is not good here.
Admission was ok but there is so many problems on physical reporting days .i faced a lot of struggle in admision .
College never do such celebration type fest in my college and district too much hacked job for student in the second problem is that there is no proper organisation.studends get disturbed by assignment.

My personal college experience

Likes

The teachers here are good they look up to students
Regular classes are conducted they teach all things properly
They also conduct extra classes for those students who are going to be detained to increase their attendance

Dislikes

For the first year the attendance criteria is much higher it is 85%
There are not many fests. They don't invite celebrities like other colleges do
The campus of first year engineering students are separated and they can't interact with there seniors

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Faculties are very supportive and helpful to me
There is no ragging in the campus of the college
The labs are well developed and are well managed

The management of the first year students is pathetic
The late decision making of first year students
strict attendance rule for the first year students

I choose my course of aiml as the world is going to adopt ai in every field, the teachers are very supportive but my real course will begin from 2nd year , i will suggest to make more competition exams for improvements, the exams are not much hard not much easy it's doable

Overall experience at NIET after First semester

Likes

Faculty is really good and helpful. They start from basics if some students don't understand.
The first year syllabus is really concise and don't have unnecessary subjects like chemistry.
There are a lot of clubs where you can participate along with sports clubs.

Dislikes

The campus isn't really big. There are two separate campus, one for only first year student and the other for the rest of the year. And even if we combine both campus, it is till quite small
There is a lot of importance on attendance in the first year. You have to maintain atleast 85% attendance to not get detained which I find absurd.
No social life or fest in the college. There wasn't even going to be freshers party for the first year but they did though it was only for 2 hours and we had classes after the freshers.

Placement Experience:

There are campus placement available. Infact, our college spends a lot of money in the placement cells. They put a heavy emphasis on training their students for interviews. There are many students who get into good companies like Amazon, IBM, Microsoft etc.

Choose your college wisely

Likes

Curriculum of the college is good it teaches us many concepts
Professor are very nice they teach is very thingsb
Clubs there are many clubs in college to join

Dislikes

Campus size campus is very small and its infrastructure is very poor
Office work take forever to complete as it is very time taking
Transportation there transportation is very expensive and very bad as i come from delhi

Placement Experience:

I think placement is not best for everyone, because as of my knowledge only 50-65percent student gets placement, average placement of my college is 600000 and highest is 58 lpa but it was offcampus as expected.

Why should you choose niet

Likes

I liked the teachers and their teaching , assignment and workbooks are given which is enough for good marks
Campus area is very small therefore very less campus life engagement
Faculties are expert in teaching they are very helpful

Dislikes

Full support is there for placements, but we have to work ourselves
Buildings are very old here we have only 1 cafeteria which is also very small the college is divided into 3 parts so it appears very short
Till now course curriculum is quite relative

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students are eligible for placements Companies like cognizant Capgemini tcs infosys come to our college Highest is 51 LPA here. Almost 78 to 80% students get placements My plan is to get the good paying job in an mnc.

Unexpected Experience of My College

Likes

Collage provide Intership oppertunities and you can get it form 2nd semester
Collage also provide sports fasualites if you are interested in sport you can play at State level from here
Placement is average and good from other colleges. NIET Have 7LPA Average

Dislikes

Niet is autonomous it also have disadvantages like in first year we have to go college on Saturday
Niet have two campus first one were first year study and second one where second third and fourth year study and it is not good we can not communicate with senior for there advice
Last one is we have to give test exam each week and you won't get free time in first year

Placement Experience:

I talking this about my one senior he said we can get the placement offer form 3rd year last semester and average placement is 7 lpa and highest placement is 33 lpa last year and one thing is that there is many mass recruiter company come to niet college. Approved 80% student placed last year. my plans is to get a better job in it field

Best in Greater Noida

It’s own curriculum and staff members behaviour is supportive
And here seniors are very supportive and helping
Autonomous institute which help us to update new curriculum.

Dislikes

Campus area is not big and more student which has caused struggle.
Not allowed to stay at hostel on college day, which cause sometime frustrate.
Some faculties members are not so good, they just come and speak and go.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you are eligible for internship and placement. Highest placement is 57 LPA and average is 7 LPA. About 99 % students get placed. But i go for further studies like m.tech and then phd.

Brief Review of NIET greater noida.

Likes

I liked the course Curriculum as it is according to the latest industry ready syllabus.
The teachers are good. They really put effort in teaching specially in first year. Also in exams they give good marks so great cgpa can be achieved.
The placements are better. In greater noida it is best college in terms of placement.

Dislikes

The campus is quit small also the campus from outside looks old. Building need renovation and white washing.
Almost no celebrity come to campus. Very very less fests are organized that too are very boring. No concerts held.
Attendance policy is strict that too 85% per semester, which is a lot.

Placement Experience:

After 5th sem students are eligible for placement. Many companies come for campus placement. Including E&Y, autodesk, amazon, tcs, etc. Placememt rate is around 85-90% Highest package is 55LPA and average is 5.5LPA. My plan is to get a job as a software engineer.

The truth about our college

Likes

The type of classes ther are counducting for many other purpose which is required for in industry purpose.
They provide a good opportunities in placement according to other colleges around our knowledge Park .
Colleges professors are very helpful to us .

Dislikes

The rule of attendance of 85 percentage .
Their acedamic rule is very harsh it seem like it is bit more restrictions than school.
No big campus ,high college fees ,very worse infrastructure.

My couse in Btech is computer science engineering in twining branch.i choose it for further expourse of other colleges if my journey will best then also i have option to go college of other international country. According to my research the curriculum is not Accordingly to face now a days real world theybonly focus on academicly only. They should provide more classes of coding and technological sessions and indusrty level interaction with industrialist,HR,Company manager. The difficulty level is not good. it is okay okay

Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology is affiliated to Abdul Kalam Technical University, offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses Engineering, Management, and Pharmacy. The campus is spread across an area of 13.90 acres and ranked 49th by the NIRF among top engineering colleges ranking 2020. The college is ranked 1st position in Greater Noida and 11th position by The Times of India Best Placement Colleges in North India.

Admission:

Admission is given on the basis of marks secured in UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) conducted by AKTU.
The cut off required for admission in CSE ranged from 23987-34341 whereas, for IT, it was 39557-57731.
Students must have completed 12th class(minimum 45%) in the Science stream, to be eligible for UG courses.
Students must hold a Bachelor’s degree for admission into PG courses.

Course and fees:

The course fees for BTech costs around 4.6 lakh for 4 years that includes tuition fees, application fees, hostel, mess, and other necessities.
