Fees and Financial Aid:

Fee structure of jss college for bpharmacy ranges along 11-12 lakhs for tuition fees along with including hostel fees . Our college demands a large excess of fees during examination as donation for booking seats for students . This is a major drawback for college due to its improper , expensive fee structure for all courses . Jss college inspite being a 3rd ranked college in pharmacy all over India, demands a plenty full amount of money . The expenses are categorized as Tuition fees , hostel fees , donation, red cross society funds and other compulsory funds . Also the exam fees ranges from 9,400 for each semester and additional charges of breakage are applied even though student has not committed any breakage in laboratories still he /she is bound to pay a standard mandatory amount of breakage . In-Depth College Review for JSS COLLEGE OF PHARMACY, OOTY

Every Year Tata Scholarship is provided by the company. The College Alumni pays 20,000 to top 3 from each class in B.pharm and the only topper in Pharm.D. one thing if concern is that they increased the hostel fee without any circular l and no such special facilities has been provided. There's no such campus employment for B.pharm students. Hostel Fees is high in comparison to the facilities provided. Also a student from any other state except South India should compromise with the food habits and menu in the hostel. I'd rather suggest to take a house on rent and stay outside. There are too many timing restrictions. Even if you come five minutes late from outing to the college, the Gatekeepers will complaint about you to the hostel warden. This happens only for girls. You can't cook inside and also you cannot order food from outside. Hostel incharges are not very polite and considerate. There's a Head warden who is also H.OD. of analysis Dept. There are 2 male wardens for the hostel.

Best environment to study the peaceful course

There has to be a study of fees to be approximately 210000 may be and it has a normal fees for them lab coat fees 4000 and exam fees uniform fees to be the studies of them and there has to be a great scholarship for the merit students

JSS PROS AND CONS

The fee structure is per semester fees and the college gives a Tata scholarship which is eligible to everyone. The requirements are that you get 8.5 cgpa or 80 percent and above. There is no job stipend for b.pharm. but for m.pharm there is.
