Jss college of pharmacy offers a great placement opportunities. Though I'm in Bpharm course which prolongs for span of 4 years . This college brings a great academic impact . As the faculty here are top class and the support showed by college for academic development is very appreciable. This college offers study materials in form of ppts and and pdf and document which are made available to every individual and this brings a modern aspects of study and academic upgrowth for students also it offers library hours scheduled to each individual for spending time among knowledge. Also this college brings greater opportunity by participating in several conferences and international presentation where students participate amd develop their skills . Also this college organises several activities and scholarships program to support academic and financial development of students. The scholarships provided by our college are genuine and affordable for all along with facilitation programms.

College as I mentioned earlier is good at academic aspects and it ensures overall development of students academic excellence . Students here can gain alot of knowledge as the faculties are highly rated and experienced . The internship provided by college are of high equity and the companies of higher tags also frequently approach the college for internship. The internship for students opens during their last stage of course and after internship the job reviews are provided by help of college administration. Recently pfizer company has frequently conducted the interview for m.pharm students and recruited the lot of students based on their academic achievement on stipend . For mpharm from pharmaceutics department the highest stipend of 28k was released. Companies recruit the interns from various departments of course ( pharmaceutics, analysis , regulatory affairs , pharmacology, pharmacognosy) . They are paid based on their academic excellence and departments reports in job field .

The college placements varies based on the course opted by student . Jss claims to have 100% placement for masters course and average placements of bachelor's courses including an average placements of 4 lakhs . The college provides both off campus and on campus placement eligible for students of b pharm from 4th year (7th semester). And m pharm students of 2nd year are eligible to seek placements both off campus and on campus based on ones own interest . Company's conduct visual one to one interaction interview . And select students based upon their interaction. Also students are independent to opt for on or off campus placement based on their interest. My plans are to opt for on campus placement and also I'm seeking to go for abroad studies to amplify my knowledge and job opportunities since India comparably offers lesser opportunities than abroad nations . And also it's very helpful to complete masters degree to get greater opportunity and high wages jobs for future insurance .

Fee structure of jss college for bpharmacy ranges along 11-12 lakhs for tuition fees along with including hostel fees . Our college demands a large excess of fees during examination as donation for booking seats for students . This is a major drawback for college due to its improper , expensive fee structure for all courses . Jss college inspite being a 3rd ranked college in pharmacy all over India, demands a plenty full amount of money . The expenses are categorized as Tuition fees , hostel fees , donation, red cross society funds and other compulsory funds . Also the exam fees ranges from 9,400 for each semester and additional charges of breakage are applied even though student has not committed any breakage in laboratories still he /she is bound to pay a standard mandatory amount of breakage . Also this college has additional charges of several entities such as for water charges and curricular activities organisation charges a plenty amount from students for organising fests and all

Talking about campus life of Jss it's not so special as compared to northern colleges as college is stated on orthodoxical principle hence worth it lacks campus life and opens up less to the worldly affairs . The campus is very small as it is designed on hill tops and doesn't provide higher degree of curricular activities . Jss organises Pharmacy week as it's major events which is a 1 week program supporting all fields of curricular activities ( such as dance , music , talent show , mime , movie making , academic excellence amd many more ) during this span of events students showcase their talent in all fields of life perspective and exhibit cultural as well as traditional talents . This events ends up with a dj night and gala dinner arranged for all faculties and students of college . This event mainly is organised during deep winter seasons. Also jss college organises annual sports day and AAA function to facilitate students their awards and their excellence all through out the year

Jss college has separate hostels for both girls and boys . But lacks a to provide organised hostel life to each individual . Hostel for boys are larger occupied including 200 rooms . Each room occupied with atleast of 4 students . The college does not support and strictly resists the use of appliance such as electric equipments ( induction, iron box, hair dryers and etc) this rule causes a great hindrance in standard lifestyle of students . Also the food from outside are not allowed into the college premises. Also the college is strictly against the non vegetarian food as it follows swami ji's lifestyle and hence fine of 10000 is charged to students for bringing food from outside . Also the mess schedule is not appropriate as the hygiene is lacked by hostel authority and food is not up to mark . As it is very difficult for students of other states to blend with the mess schedule here . As it does not provide western cuisines . Also it lacks of hygiene and cleanliness and organisation

The college offers admission to all personels based upon two subsequent criteria. 1st criteria is to clear the jss aher entrance exam where applicant is entitled to attend jss entrance exam and score clearance marks and based upon the merit admission is approved . 2nd criteria offers admission through management quota by referring students high school and inter stage merits and involves booking of seats by providing donation to the college . Based upon his or her 12th marks discount is provided on donation fees . And regarding examination procedure , college frequently follows 12 by 2 semester rule . Each semester of 6 months . And each semester involves exams organised as internal by name of sessional 1 and 2 . Each divided by half of total syllabus . Sessional are 1 hour exams consisting of objective and subjective portions to build up internal marks . Each semester exam fees ranges to 4,700 total of 1 year as 9,400. Eligibility for exams include grace marks and 1s active attendance

Faculty to student interaction faces a major issue of communication and language issue . Being a southern college here the frequently used language for interaction is Tamil and other local languages that causes difficulty for students from other state to understand and manipulate it . Also this college bounds the student life in academics by bringing such strictness in studies . This college lacks support to students . Being a old school college this college doesn't welcome modern thaught process and ideas . It does not support western fashions and culture that brings a great drawback for students coming from other states . Also the good quality is very degraded here as they only focus on southern dishes and foods and does not provide western cuisines to students . Also the college is very strict about students fashion choices and freedom . The outing for students living here is very restricted as they do not support students from other states . The living problem is very crucial here
