4-5 faculty per 100 students are there some are helpful and some are troubling however I had not faced any problem yet seeing some techer that help a lot during exams teachers also clear the doubts of student

The faculty are very friendly they never seen partiality among the students I never say the name of faculty I like and I don't like in common I like every faculty. In Mpharm it's a semester pattern so we will have 2 sessional and one semester exam per semester

Laboratory maintenance and teaching is very good.

All the faculties are very good..For b.pharm per semester two sessional will be held,that is little bit be tough. For semester it will be easy to write. For pharm d there will be three sessional per year and then university exam will be moderate.

Faculty to student interaction faces a major issue of communication and language issue . Being a southern college here the frequently used language for interaction is Tamil and other local languages that causes difficulty for students from other state to understand and manipulate it . Also this college bounds the student life in academics by bringing such strictness in studies . This college lacks support to students . Being a old school college this college doesn't welcome modern thaught process and ideas . It does not support western fashions and culture that brings a great drawback for students coming from other states . Also the good quality is very degraded here as they only focus on southern dishes and foods and does not provide western cuisines to students . Also the college is very strict about students fashion choices and freedom . The outing for students living here is very restricted as they do not support students from other states . The living problem is very crucial here

In-Depth College Review for JSS COLLEGE OF PHARMACY, OOTY

The College has good hygiene standards. It has all the lab equipments and areas needed for a Pharmacy College. The faculties are very supportive and highly knowledgeable. They have great contacts in the field. They are well versed in their subjects.

The faculty to student ratio is well managed. There are many departments in the college like PHARMACEUTICS, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Analysis, Regulatory Affairs, Biotechnology and others. They have appropriate amount of staff including Head of the Department, Assistant Professors, Professors to manage the curriculum for all, B.Pharms, D.Pharms, M.Pharms and P.H.Ds and PharmDs. The faculties are polite and well versed in their subjects. They know what they are teaching and also provide extra inputs by teaching poster presentations, making slides, and other online activities for the betterment of the students. Only thing is that some might judge students on the basis of what the girl or boy is wearing. All the faculties know English but very few know Hindi as the College is in. South India, particularly, Tamil Nadu so the maximum population is of Tamil , Kannada and Telugus with very few Malayalis. Teachers are approachable & knowledgeable except some who exist everywhere though.

My opinion about JSS college of pharmacy

The faculty are well trained and equiped for the students needs. Form what I have seen the faculty is willing to help the students in any way possible. There are different faculty for different subjects specialties. All the head of departments have phds in various fields. Many of the new hire are give extensive training.

College review

Excellent and helpful. Help us to cope up with the current scenario by engaging us in various activities and to help us complete our course without any delay By keeping case presentations, once, seminars etc. The interns where asked to help juniors understand the case presentation format so that it will help them improving. Any doubts will be clarified then and there. There is no partiality for teachers.

JSS college

Best expert held lecture and activities national levels. Most professor are Master degree and PH.D level was most surplus of our college. Moreover laboratory instruments was advance and more practical facility provide to all students, I saw only college who has own Animal house in college practical.

Some faculties are well skilled where as some are good in teaching, some are good in practical knowledge different teacher have different skills so teacher have good facultative teaching skills each staffs are well skilled in their respective fields
