Internship opportunities. The college doesn't help to provide internship opportunities in top tier law firms.
Lack of certain recreational facilities such as playground, auditorium, arts room etc
Course Curriculum Overview:
I would rate the curriculum 3.5 out of 5 . The major con is that the curriculum in Government law College Thiruvananthapuram is solely made for litigation in the court . There is less scope for corporate level studies.
Curriculum is up to date and I personally think that several other act should be added for real world application like insurance law , narcotics abkari act are not included.
Exams are usually on time comparing to other universities in Kerala still it's not conducted nearly after the semester ends
The college is situated in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram
We can easily access the town and major places
We get exposure from this college and contact with well established aluminious

Course Curriculum Overview:
I could give a five-star rating on the relevance and comprehensiveness of the course. Im a law student and law is an integral part of every society. Being a ward of the govt law college tvpm also gives us a great value great teaching and the way of teaching and the college atmosphere makes us self-made. Ba literature could also be so helpful along with the law programme as it useful fo competitive examinations. As mentioned earlier the exams are a bit lagging behind but its fine. We are being able to cope up with it
Facilities are well educated and most of them are phd holders. They provide absolutely well assistance in academic and extra curriculum
Ambience of the college. The college is situated in the major part of Thiruvananthapuram city near kerala legislative Assembly and other major state offices. Campus also has good ambience and scenery
Fees structure is very affordable. Fees per year is below 10000 and it is really worth for normal people

College hostel for women is very Conjusted.
Building lacks necessary amneties and buildings should be more well in their structure
Course Curriculum Overview:
As i mentioned only 60% of students pass in the exam. This is because the exam delay. We have to write the exam of 1st semester while we are on 3rd sem. That's why most of the students find it difficult.
Have a library with more than thirty thousand books
The moot court plays an important role in improving the advocacy skills
The college has a good computer and research center

Course Curriculum Overview:
Timing of exams are so tiring. The semester end won't meet the respective sem exams. For example - studying 3rd semester and writing 1st semester exam. It is very normal as of now cause of the delay occurred in our entrance exams and admission process.
Good aspects : well trained teachers
a very informative and huge library
helping office staffs.
Bad Aspects : no ground for sports
student political party system ( often fights occur between two different party members)
No moot club
no participation in moots and trail advocacy
no encouragement for extra curricular activities.
college doesn't provide for funds for arts festivals
I chose this college because of its reputation, Well trained teachers and the certificate we get from this college is so worthy to apply for jobs etc
