As the ihm are governed by the national council of hotel management catering technology and applied nutrition The fee structure is being decided by national council for all government ihm where as the fees keep Flacuating as per market trend The average fees of ihm's is around 1,20000 per annum
There were no fee hikes during my 3 years of graduation, the cost to study is also good, I got an internship at JW Marriott Mumbai with 1600 stipend per month and was placed at royal orchid hotels with 9000 stipends per month, I hadn't taken any financial assistance.
The fees may change every year but the approximate fees for the college were around 330000 and the hostel fees were 35000 per semester and IGNOU exam fees was 12700 and others for books, kitchen kit and uniforms they will take 13000 and in an average, the cost of study for a student is 600000(six lakhs ) including college fees hostel fees and other expenses For Telangana students, there is a state scholarship available
People who belong to EWS, SC, ST categories got certain concessions, We also got Railway concessions, British council membership for students of IHM Hyderabad, Jobs: Hyatt's Corporate leadership trainee (one of the best), ITC'S MANAGEMENT TRAINEE, Accor, Oberios, Lemon Tree, Reliance, etc.
I choose this cource because I have passion on cooking. Faculty are very good and experienced. The students are more than 200 in one year. The qualification of faculty are they have experience of 3 to 4 years of teaching experience. The term exams are go in December and may month. And subjects were very tough to understand
The fees is Rs. 395000 which includes every single fees including ignou fee as well but excluding hostel fees, the placement is 100%. There are various scholarship for sc/st students as well.
It's a good course for someone who has interest in the field. The course has a lot of scope and future opportunities. The industry is growing and has been looking for employees every hour, every month
The curriculum looks really promising. It covers the big branch that is Hospitality and provides an insight of the industry by practicals. There's a 6 week internship at the end of Year 2 and a 6 month compulsory intership in the 6th Semester. The industrial kitchens, baking and patisserie labs also are very professional and are meant for commercial use. The institute is also very accommodative of people who choose not be have meat and provide vegetarian cooking programs.
The tuition fees for one year is around 49,635. Admission & registration fees of 1500 and 1800 needs to be paid separately. Exam fees of 2500 also needs to be paid. Thus the total of one year comes down to 1.3 L after including all the other necessary charges. The grand total for three years is approx to 3.43 L which from my point of view is quite reasonable.
The fee structure of the course was feasible. The course had great importance which is why I found the fees to be affordable. However, the students could opt for student loan. The course had Rs.2.64 lakhs fee.
