The term exams occur every 2 months and it's really very easy u just have to do the practical and show it to your teacher and he will give u the marks, and pls focus on the assessment its best of 5 but pls take it seriously
I love cooking since childhood that's why I choose this course,the college faculty is best, there are 300 students in my 20-23 batch. Maximum faculty members are PHD holders. This course id all about the practical knowledge,on every semester midterm exam and term end exam held,and it's not difficult to pass.
This course is good if you want to go into the Hospitality or Retail sector. Experienced faculty were there who themselves had a lot of practical exposure in the Hotel Industry. Exams were held twice a year. Practical and theory components both were tested.
I choose this course because I want to do the course related to hotels. Everyone taught us in a very professional way and I see the college growing in stature due to quality education been imparted. All the faculty members are well qualified and experience holders. The teaching method was outstanding after 5 months the term end exam come and there is nothing difficult in that all the things which are important are well taught by the faculties.
I chose this course because I had an inclination towards it from my school days. It gives me an opportunity to bring a smile to others' face which is getting lost these days. 1:100 All the faculties have both academic and industrial experience which makes it easy for them to teach. They have an internal assessment every alternate week for practice and a mid sem for theory in 2 months
Bachelor's in hospitality and hotel administration course curriculum is mostly practical based course, it enhances your skill and develops professionalism in you. The faculty to student ratio is decent, yet the point of concern is new faculty enrolling in this institute and thier selection as they are not providing the quality this course demands. Exams are logic and skill bases so it's not that difficult to pass.
The couse syllabus was great.we got to learn about all the things regarding food and new names apparently.the lack of terms in syllabus through practical class was Alcohol tasting as college is in dry state,gujarat respe tively,the industrial.exposure experience was great,the faculties were good but more often partial to students.Regarding faculty i liked was Mr Shashank Rajauria as he was very friendly to everyone and all time helping hands to his subject.
Course curriculum is good. Need slight updation. Transparency should be there. The faculties are helpful and encourage students from time to time. The academics is also challenging in a fun way which include role pla also
Since I belong to a Hotel Management College where discipline and grooming are the two major necessities in terms of behavioural aspects. Staying in college from 9am to 6pm was a bit tough for most of the students as Hotel Management is mot only cooking food, we used to have practical classes in the morning and after lunch our theory classes were scheduled. Mostly all the hotel management colleges provide lunch for all the students and faculties. My faculties were strict and they made sure the students are in proper grooming and maintained discipline. They are the ones who taught me how to be humble and lead a disciplined life. You will enjoy your life in IHM Ahmedabad and at the same time you will get industrial exposure during the 2nd year as you will be undergoing industrial training in a five start hotel.
Faculty is highly qualified and is always ready to help be it academics or any project you wish to work outside. They also tend to release projects for working and improve your knowledge. The faculty has their degrees from well reputable institutes and have excellent teaching skills
