Likes

I liked the facaulties out there they were amazing in shaping our base so that it could help me excell in my furture
The campus is a plus point as the hostel is inside the college which facilitates the transport
It has a good campus placement rate will garauntees the future for the students

Dislikes

The facilities for sports are very less as per the bar

Internships Opportunities:

The internship opportunities is like an open world you are the one deciding where to work the institute takes care of the contact they need to arrange your internship the stipends depends on industry standards

Faculty are very supportive and overall it was very good enjoyed all 6 sems
Even the hostel facility was very good neatly maintained
The labs and other practical rooms were very good

The internship is arranged by the college and made sure you get into the best 5 star hotel to learn your practical knowledge and watch the industry and make a choice about your favourite department and future with the industry.

Better communication with guest it helped a lot for me
Faculty are great teach us very well and help if needed
Gelreat learning facily which helped me before my training

Dislikes

Being away from home food was a issue for me
Day to day expeses if someone urgent assignment came
Travel was another issue local auto were challenging

Internships Opportunities:

I did my intership in St. Regis, Mumbai and there were a lot of opportunities to do the internship to get to know how the hotel operates things from the back and give us the reality check but ilthe internship was really great had a lot of fun made contacts

A true Gem - IHM Ahmedabad

Likes

Great experienced and knowledgeable faculties
Neat and clean accommodation with very helpful warden ma'am
Development of each student into a very disciplined and professional individual

Dislikes

Practical part may have been a little more

Internships Opportunities:

I did my industrial training in JW Marriott Hotel Kolkata. Stipend depends on property to property. There are many opportunities for internship if you would like to you can grab it from your end or you can ask the placement coordinator to help you get the intership they can suggest you brands and properties where you can get interviewed and achieve a chance to get the intership done . They give training in all four core department of the hotel .

Demanding course but less paying

Internships Opportunities:

Internships are done at every 3rd or 4th-semester half-and-half batch. you can give any choice of your hotel and complete ur 4 monthly internships at all major departments u get a glimpse of the hostel industry

3rd semester of this course is based on industrial training, where you get exposed to hospitality industry for 4 months and it is great learning for students and they get a clear picture of the industry. Students work in different departments of hotels, observe and learn from this experience. Stipends differ and depend on the hotel's HR Policy. Approx 2000 per month to 800 per month in Indian hotels.
