Internships Opportunities:

It is mandatory to do internship training in the third or fourth semester, the training is for 4 months, which you got the opportunity to work in a hotel and the college will conduct the interviews on the preference based given by students. The stipends are different in every hotel, starting from 1000 a month to 3000 a month. You've to work in every core department.

One semester of Industrial Training is mandatory to complete the course and get the Degree. Students can find internships on their own and if they need assistance from college, the faculty helps them to get internship opportunities through their industrial connections.

We give the interviews of 5star hotels for the internship and they placed us in all the core departments so that we can get practical knowledge of how the industry works. 3rd semester of this course is based on industrial training, where you get exposed to hospitality industry for 4 months and it is great learning for students and they get a clear picture of the industry. Students work in different departments of hotels, observe and learn from this experience. Stipends differ and depend on the hotel's HR Policy. Approx 2000 per month to 800 per month in Indian hotels.

During my second year it is compulsory to undergo an industrial training for 4 months in a five star hotel. I have done my industrial exposure training from Hyatt Regency, Kolkata. My stipend was 1000 per month, the stipend is basically your transport cost and nothing else but the completion and certificate really matters.
