Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Gandhinagar offers full-time B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration for the duration of 3-year with an intake of 230 seats. This course is recognized by Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU) and offered by NCHMCT and IGNOU jointly.

The application form is to be submitted offline. Candidates are required to download the application form and submit the same through the post.
The candidates who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with English as a compulsory subject.
To secure admission, the candidates must have qualified National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam (NCHMCT JEE) followed by counselling.
NCHMCT JEE is conducted in the month of April. The result is declared in the month of May followed by counselling process which is held in the month of June every year.

User Facts:

The upper age limit for the applicants of General and OBC categories is 22 years.
The candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories should be maximum of 25 years of age at the time of admission.
Age relaxation to the physically handicapped candidates is given on the basis of their categories.
It is mandatory for the applicants to submit a physical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner at the time of admission.

Download the registration form and fill all the details such as NCHMCT JEE details, Name, Parents’ Name, DOB, Blood Group, Address of Correspondence, Marks obtained in 10^th/ 12^th, Contact Number, E-mail ID and Local Guardian’s Details (if applicable).

Admission:

The college is one the best colleges the only place where it lacked was the beverage curriculum as it falls under a dry state. To enroll in the nchm jee is a entrance exam that you need to quailfy to get in the college based on your score.

Admission:

I got AIR 1267 and I chose 3 best colleges. I wanted to come to Gandhinagar as it provided with the veg course also . I did NCHMCT JEE and then joined here . You can give the exam anytime after HS till 23 years of age .

Demanding course but less paying

Admission:

Eligibility for this course is- in general, you need to score 50% in your HSC exams We have to give the exam of nchmct after this for reserving our seat we need to pay 40k rupees also the reservation is done in 3 rounds You have to pay 40k to reserve ur seat else u can't get ur allotted seat the most important thing is don't believe in youtube videos for your examination

I had applied for ihm Meerut but I did not get it in the counselling so I opt for the ihm Gandhinagar. Yes, I had applied for a quota of obc. Admission criteria are based on the ranks in the entrance exam. The admission process was smooth first I had to submit the documents in ihm pusa which is nearest to me after that they gave dates to report at the allotted college and do the fees submit and document check after that the college starts.

The Faculty there have the best up-to-date knowledge of their subject and are always helpful for the students. The college has a great reputation among the industry leaders. The bad thing is that being in a dry state you don't get to explore the Alcoholic beverage chapter widely as alcohol is banned so you can't explore more.
