The dental college

Likes

The college has good infrastructure and with huge gardena nd lush greenery around
The faculty is well educated and ready to help you
Decent patient flow enabling us to learn things well

Dislikes

Sometimes in some departments the chairs do not work and the college takes lot of time to get them repaired
In some department you do not get required patients to compĺete quota
In some department you do not get required patients to comp:ete quota

Admission:

I got selected in this college through governmwnt counseling. I had applied in various other dental colleges and engineering colleges where i even got selected into an engineering college but i wanted to pursur my career in medicine hence chose this college.

There is feeling of independence. Faculties are not like school teachers who will be always pestering whereas they give a kind of "if you study good for you , don't think we'll spoon feed you" vibe , which I find very appealing.
Since it's a dental college and not medical College the place is always less crowded. In initial days when I joined the college I was not happy with it but sooner or later I found so many advantages for the same.

Dislikes

The college is very hesitant to conduct any kind of cultural or sports programs. The management sees the not academic activities as a unwanted burden. So students always has to go begging behind the management for the approval.
Since students and the patients use the same washrooms it will always be dirty. Toilets are not well maintained. I never uses college toilet , will always go to my room and use my own washroom. It's high time they should provide separate toilets

Admission:

First of all, we should qualify for the NEET exam. Every year the qualifying mark will be different so the first criterion is to qualify for the NEET. The application form, fee structure, and dates will be correctly updated on the official Karnataka collegiate site ie dce.karnataka.gov.in There are so many benefits for the Reserved caste. Details regarding these will provided on the official website. Every year NEET exam will be held once nearly in June or August. It is a competitive exam so even if you secure a qualifying good mark and your fellow component scores more, he /she has a higher chance to get a merit seat in the college. Another con is, that it is an MCQ exam. MCQ might be confusing for some but for me, it was better than long-paragraph answers. Areas for improvement are there are so many educational agencies right now that are very big scams. They take too much money from their parents and pay half of it into college and the other half they take it for themselves.

I liked the non-stressful environment in my college. And friendly staffs.

Dislikes

Mainly the facilities including labs.

Admission:

I had to crack Neet UG first. Then I had to apply through KEA. For the allotment we have to dedicate a plenty of time. After KEA verification we can proceed with the admission. I got it through direct application to the college for management seat. It's always better to go through admission guidelines thoroughly and then taking up the decision. Never rush on anything. Be calm and persistent. Settle for better always and dont just risk your education and career. Always try to get information about the college you're going to apply. Research the alumnis and if possible try to keep a conversation with any seniors Try to visit College first and trust your gut feeling. Never misjudge and over expect

You should be 12th pass , and you have to write neet exam and qualify in that , after that fill karantaka state counselling then u should fill this college as ur choice then u can come and ask for the management seat
