Remarks
The good thing about this college was seniors they were really helpful and friendly.The college campus is good but the hostel is really bad...we had to face lot of problems with the canteen also we starved ourselves most of the times... management as such was okay but good teaching faculty left the college during my time... patient flow was not that heavy as the college is located far from the main road...but you get to learn a lot if you are willing to...good college on the whole..got to know about this college through my relatives
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BDS because i didn't get MBBS as simple as it is... faculty for all the clinical subjects was great they were all experienced and skilled in respective departments...All of the lady professors were so strict... Qualification of all the staff members was MDS and higher...teaching method was more of practice oriented in most of departments...term exams were yearly and University used to scare the hell out of everyone with the question paper....it is difficult to pass in the 3rd and 4th year exams as there will be many subjects to clear in 4th year
Internships Opportunities
There is no stipend provided by the college during internship but one get to learn a lot during internship oly
Placement Experience
Only after the completion of the five year course including the internship one becomes eligible to work...once the course is done we need to concentrate on working with some senior doctor for experience and exposure which takes a lot from a fresher...after getting the degree one can opt for masters or for their own clinic
Fees and Financial Aid
Hike policy was according to the will of the university and not of the college but the cost to study this degree was high obviously...there will be no scholarship for others except sc and st students same as in every college....and there was no financial assistance as in stipend also
Campus Life
There used to be once in a year college week which used to be conducted by the batch that is leaving the college that year...there used to be a week'siday for the classes and only sports and cultural programs would make it up....there wer all outdoor and indoor games and competitions held... Facebook has a page MDC confessions which is run by students oly
