Why should you choose LIC over IHE?

Likes

Esteemed faculty members as they were the distinguished alumni
Campus & Infrastructure was huge and good classrooms with AC

Dislikes

Canteen as the food provided wasn't even palatable.

Internships Opportunities:

There is no such internships. But one can contact the faculty for few unpaid interships Again this depends on the department. For the education department, the internships are in collaboration with the ASHA foundation. As the budding educators, it is mandate for them to complete 60 hours in summer internship.

Our college is really good about campus

Likes

I like Societies and clubs of our college as there are many societies.
Our college conducts many events or fest which is organised by our departments

Dislikes

There is no placement opportunities for students which is not good
There is not much holidays and hectic timetable for students

Internships Opportunities:

I personally didn't do any internship as the teachers don't tell us personally. We have to ask them whether there is any internship or not and they told us they provide summer internships to students.

Internships Opportunities:

Right now I am in 2nd Semester so I haven't experienced any of it. But the college do provide various types of internships from 2nd year as heard from my seniors and teachers. Some famous companies offer them like Nestle, PepsiCo etc.

Summer internships are done by food technology students. There are many companies like mother dairy, nestle, and VLCC that came to our college for recruiting students but if have completed your post-graduation then you will get a good placement just q bachelor's degree is not enough.

Good and nice college to opt for if one wants to be a dietitian.

Internships Opportunities:

• The students have to find the internships on their own in different hospitals as a dietetian. College has no role in providing any internships. • Although for jobs the teachers upload the vacancies in whatsapp group and students have to approach on their own. • Mainly the Students are appointed as dietitian were they have to take dietary records of patients, their health status, their diet charts and various things are monitored by them.

As we are pursuing B.ed there is a placement cell held at the end of our course and if we perform well we have atleast two jobs in our hand just after completing the college which is a very good thing we must apply for it.

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which provides training, conducts seminars, talk shows, interview sessions and assignments to get the best opportunities in the corporate world. Many schools participate in the placement who hire students for various roles in their institution. Besides, other students donot participate in the campus placement as most of the recruiters are from teaching industry.

The lesser known - Lady Irwin College

Internships Opportunities:

Most of the courses do not really provide internships. But, as far as Bachelor of Education is concerned, they provide internship twice to each student during the 2 year tenure. During the first year, students go to a government school and observe how their seniors teach there. This is done for 1-4 weeks. During the second year, students themselves go and teach in a government school for about 6 months. They have to go to college only once a week then. No stipend is provided.
