The Department of Food and Nutrition at the college has reported a successful 100% placement for its first batch of B.Tech Food Technology students in companies such as Nestle, Perfetti, Tqs Global, FRAC, and Sudha Dairy. Although the Bachelor’s program in Food Technology is newly introduced, there is a considerable focus on postgraduate placements, with graduates finding opportunities in various sectors including governmental and international agencies, food industries, hospitals, and teaching institutions.
Despite the absence of a dedicated placement cell, placements are facilitated informally by faculty members and the Head of Department through their professional contacts. A significant portion of students pursue higher studies, with many opting for master’s programs in reputed institutions like NIFTEM, BHU, and IIFT. Internships are widely encouraged, with opportunities in companies like Bikanervala, FSSAI, and Delhi Milk Scheme, although students often have to secure these independently. The college's alumni network contributes to job opportunities, but the overall job market for undergraduates, especially without further qualifications, remains challenging with salaries ranging from 10k to 40k depending on specialization and abilities.
