Yes scholarship are available for the students who have an excellent cgpa and great attendance.
The teaching process of faculty is very good and friendly .
The college life is very good and events are conducted with very little registration classrooms are very good with modern benches and air conditioning sports are well established and dedicated teachers are there to teach sports

Dislikes

Old buildings infrastructure was bad and pc were not that great.
The colleg crowd is below average, the canteen is worst
The yearly fees must be paid in lumpsum amount as the installment facility is available only for people who are in financial crisis

College review for microbiology department

Likes

The course is very affordable and students can avail the scholarships

Dislikes

The boys to girls ratio was very bad only 4 boys and 18 girls in the batch

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teaching methods were good by some professors but one professor taught from ppt only. 2 and half hour for each exam and 60 marks paper all subjective no mcq as such. Practical exam is 150 marks including lab work , journal, viva voce.

Yes i liked the infrastructure, very cozy amd in rainy season very cool amd good the trees everything was so good but canteen need to have some hygiene and cleanliness amd water cooler have fungi they need to cleaned
Teaching is also good some teacher are too good . Teaching staff is awesome
Idk about the placement, but they give jobs in range of 10-20k

Dislikes

The water cooler not cleaned , security guards are also too rude
Behavior of general office workers, they don't give anything show us attitude shut the window and they pull work on each other and keep us waiting for long and are very rude to student
If we asks for our original doc for admission they say ee dont know where we'll find we cant go from this window and will shout very rudely

Everything is good, they conduct everything smoothly, our building was goos labs are well developed, everything is good, library well established tables in campus to have stdore space rather than library, computer are provided in library.

Likes

Every department has followed time table very strictly
Many cultural activities, physical activities done by clg which increases the interaction among students
Digitalised all other information like attendance ect plus high security

Dislikes

Some syllabus remaining at last time. It completed fastly before exam
In cantin some times they give stale food

Department of chemistry give more diverse fields which includes chemistry as well as physics and biology. There are Organic, inorganic, Drugs and Dye , physical , Analytical this sub subject we are learning there . Practicle daily happened and some times also give environmental knowledge. Timing of exam is perfect and exam paper is moderate level

Likes

I like the neatness in canteen and taste
I like the way teachers interact and help every student
I like infrastructure of college and the way they maintain the campus

Dislikes

Nowadays there are lots of fencing in campus
Every time you sit in campus security guard will check the id
Awareness about what is happening in college

Placement Experience:

Placements are majorly done for third yr students. There is placement and training cell which train us for future challenges and provide placement with the help of seminars. Also one to one session. Tcs, infosys, axis bank and many companies comes with opportunities and also arrange ai course

Overall review of college

Likes

I liked the faculty as they are supportive and love their teaching manner highly professional
Infrastructure of college is also good... Also there are placement options available
Also there are different activities that happens in college which engage students more

Dislikes

The timing it is not constant ... The college lecture should have constant time
The fees are high according to courses as we don't have library option.. and also we don't get that much lab
I have no more issues i am all oky with it now

I wanted to take computer science as i love the lab facilities here.. Here we have doubt solving sessions too that improves and solve our doubts.. Curriculum helps me to face real world interviews .. Would love to have some good teachers and proper time The time of exam are perfect

Bragging About Birla

Likes

Teachers are somewhere supporting regarding studies and extra activities.
The campus is really peaceful, refreshing.
Classrooms. They have enough lights and are large.

Dislikes

Some students from other college roaming outside and making girls uncomfortable.
Teachers not taking action of complaints and solving in fun way.
The canteen closes at 5 and the library for the night college we don't have book we just have reference books which is of 600 pages.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course that time was very ,uch in the market as a student just graduated hsc with such low marks didn't even have courage to tell my parents what to choose. Its a really interesting course every year new things. Improvement can be done by seperating good and bad students ( in study )

Life at B.K Birla college

Likes

I liked the Atmosphere of the college very much
Also I liked the Interior of the college
Also the Computer labs are well managed with good quality computers

Dislikes

I didn't liked the Fees structure of this college
Also it's exam conducting pattern I didn't liked much.

B.k Birla college is an autonomous college and it has it's own academic curriculum so they conduct exams as per their convenience. And because of NEP students are little confused with the exam pattern.

Faculty was friendly and helps everyone.
Infrastructure was good for some new buildings.
Trees and plants around campus makes air healthy for students and faculty.

Dislikes

Some teachers were new so without having experience it was difficult for them to teach.
Old buildings infrastructure was bad and pc were not that great.
Some classmates were well behaved while some didn't.

I chose information technology just because I liked programming and mathematics.but when i saw syllabus I loved subjects like artificial intelligence, some mathematics, database languages like mongodb which is newer in market compared to SQL. Teachers were trying their best to teach us

Likes

The campus is very big with nice green gardens
The college has many good facilities like good labs and library for students
The teachers are supportive and cooperate with students very well

Dislikes

The Placement cell dosen't do there work well .
The staff are professors dosent know how to teach , except few , but those who were good left the college
The management is bad , the timings are not fixed at all

The course is nice i choose the course because of the syllabus only , its really nice covering a wide variety of subjects in IT many programming languages are taught , from begining to advance , but because of the evolving field of IT the subject are not up to date the college should look up on that . And workshops or webinars should be organized frequently to bridge the gap

The College is Average and Affordable with Good Infrastructure

Likes

The College has Good Infrastructure and Nice atmosphere due to Lush green campus
The fees are affordable and they also provides scholarships
You dont have to worry about maintaining 75% attendance, although i suggest atleast maintain above average

Dislikes

The college faculty have poor knowlegde about recent market trends and apportunities
The HOD does not spend time with students, due to which we can actually have any meaningfull conversation regarding career apportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

For Bsc IT, the course is Outdated. for example, we had MAD(Mobile application development) subject, where we were taught to make application for old nokia mobile and java mobiles. But the course can be improved if added subjects which will be helpful in future and with students interest. The exam conducted are always late and with incomplete portion. First they will not complete portion and then at the nearly close exam they will speed up everything
