Course Curriculum Overview:
The reason why I chose this course is because I was interested in the human body anatomy and biology. Subjects like oral surgery, radiology and general medicine are my current favourites. The curriculum prepares us for real life cases by including various examples of different patients. The practical quota is such that it requires the students to attend to the patient in real life scenarios in an actual hospital. These experiences gained in the clinics during the course help in better understanding the theory part of the curriculum.
The teaching staff and the clinical staff encourage and include undergraduate students for theoretical research/review right from the 1st academic Yr.
Dislikes
Lectures conducted in the afternoon for 3rd and 4th Yr feels tiresome. These lectures should be rather conducted in morning hours.
Limited canteen service. Hospital should have own separate canteen for clinical staff and students.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Like many others, for me dentistry was not the first choice but definitely a better choice to pursue after clearing NEET-UG. The curriculum includes clinical work i.e. working on patients right from the 3rd Yr, I think that's what makes the students better prepared even before completing graduation. Additionally, students are given information about recent updates and newer researches in dentistry.
Newer teaching methods using AI and online teaching should be promoted for theory lectures. Maximum hours should be given for clinical practice.
