Internships Opportunities:
I had a great internship. Compulsory rotatory internship of 1 year. Where 45 days of majors like general medicine, surgery, obestretics and gynaecology. And 15-30 days for minors. You will be provided with 23,000 rupees stipend. Which is not regular but you will be paid once in 3-5 months. As post graduates are less you will be working hard but mark my words its worth
Internship is mandatory and it's offered at our college hospital itself.
We are posted in all the departments of the hospital on rotation basis with each posting lasting between 2 weeks to 8 weeks depending on the branch.
The stipend is around 25K per month.
In india, as per the guidelines of the medical council of India, every student has to do his internship within the hospital to which the college is affiliated. The stayfund is 22000 per month in the government general hospital, Ongole.
