IISM through the Eyes of a Young Girl from God's Own Country

Likes

The main aspect i like about my college is the quality of education they provide with to the students through the best faculties.
They gave more importance to practical things but on the other hand no comprimise to the studies as well.
They have internship opportunity and it help students to create more network in the sports industry.

Dislikes

The college doesn't have a proper campus .
Some faculties are having special consideration to some students

Placement Experience:

There are campus placements and the college helps all the students to get into good position. There is a compulsory internship from the 3rd semester for all the students. The avaerage package for a undergraduate Sports Management professional would range from 3 to 5 lakhs . My major plan is to get into either Analytics or Sales side.

Great review of a sports management student.

Likes

The college atmosphere is very good at the campus.
The teaching staff is really co-operative and knowledgable
College gives many opportunities to learn things from the industry professionals

Dislikes

Sometimes the internship opportunities are less
The internship periods which collide exams
The extra activities are more than the necessary activities

Placement Experience:

Yes placements are good but sometimes there are first come first serve opportunities sometimes there are interviews which take place and there are also in campus placement after the course is completed.

The tale of IISM

Likes

Internship they provide to the students is unmatched as compared to under sports colleges
The faculties are really good here and always have you back in trouble
Several sports buisness related events are held throughout the year

Dislikes

The ratio of boys to girls is extremely high
Not much of co-curricular activities apart from sports
The campus feels like a corporate office

Placement Experience:

After sem 5 the students starts getting placement related mails from college and during the 3 and 4th sem the students have to do a compulsory summer internship which contains marks for the external exams. The companies visited are adidas, DNA networks, female cricket, SFA and many more. The college says they give 100% percent placement but it also depends on the students whether they want to take it from college or find their own. My plan is getting a job in social media sector in any sports.

One thing i liked about my college is that the faculty is very helpful.

Dislikes

I think the infrastructure should have been more of quality as per the fees taken.
One thing I would like to improve is that there should be less waste of time taking small events like playing video games in the college.

Placement Experience:

The placements of mh college after pursuing Bachelors of Sports Management has an average annual package of ?5-6 lakhs. Which is not worth it. But if a student by himself takes part involves himself in events then only he has some scope.

Life at IISM

Likes

Top notch facilities and great teaching staff and faculty
Provides intership as it has tie ups with good companies
Ample of extracurricular activities and sports based curriculum

Dislikes

Only two lectures per day of 2 hours For our batch
Providing sports coaching at the end of 2nd year
Small campus compared to other colleges and split campus and different floors

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester the students become eligible for campus placements , it includes companies like hotstar and etc , 70-80% of the students get placements post the degree is completed, the have efficiently planned to provide with placements to the students

IISM- THE SHAKSHI PERSPECTIVE

Likes

The thing is like the most about the college is the campus Life. It is one to never forget, there are so many events and activities all around the year and it's all so much fun!
The faculty at IISM is the best in the industry, they have got the experience, the expertise, the network and most importantly the knowledge.
The internship opportunities is so great and the best of the sports World. It teaches you so many things and gives you a hands on experience of the industry.

Dislikes

The infrastructure can improve like we can have courts of different sports in our college facilities.
The events and the social life can also improve like there can be many more innovations and upgradations in this aspect.

Placement Experience:

The placement are 90% and they are the best. The placements and internships offered by the college is in the top companies which gives the students top notch experience and learning. The main point is that now the college had been established for over a decade and the network it has are one to boost about. The plus factor is also that out founder is an ex Indian cricketer which is the cherry in the top.

Life at IISM

Likes

The Campus is good and clean, toilets are clean and maintained
The Faculty is good and helping and is available whenever you need them

Dislikes

They change the pattern of exam after every semister so it becomes difficult to understand

It is very accommodative of new techniques used in sports field, the course structure is very practical, it equips us with real life skills, it boosts our personality and enhances our willingness towards sports

In 3rd semester students get eligible for placements Companies like star sports, sports keeda, etc are available and very good amount of offers are made Highest package is 7lpa and average is 5lpa 80-90% of students get placed Will be going abroad for masters
