GLCE: AN EYE OPENER TOWARDS THE SOCIETY

Faculty:

the faculty memebers are great that they are doing there job neatly.. The faculty to student ratio is about 30-1.. There about 12 permanent faculties and 8 temporary faculties .. Sometimes there will be conflicts between faculties and Students because of some faculties who keeps on grudge towards some students(this was seen mainly in few temporary faculties) Overall the faculties in GLCE are good!

Review For GLCE

Faculty:

The faculty are very much approachable and friendly, but most of them are prejudictic. Most of the faculty are guest faculty. There is a semester wise exam and those are really hard to ace, you get a pass mark with a lot of effort. Nearly 20 students from each year fails the exam.

I really like the faculty here. I also like the library.

Faculty:

Faculty to student ratio is fine. Also all the students have a great relationship with the faculty and vice versa. There are a total of 50 written examination for the 5 year course. There are 15 b.com papers, 6 language papers and 37 law papers which include 4 clinical papers. Half od the exams are moderately difficult but most of the students clear there exam.

It promotes personal growth of students rather than constrictive methods of teaching, students experience a lot of freedom

Dislikes

Classroom experience may be below expectations as you have to do a lot of the work yourself and cant rely on your teachers as much

Faculty:

The teachers at glc kochi are friendly and good at teaching, they themselves are most likely experienced experts at the subjects they are teaching, but the genersl environment in the college is to engane in self study rather than rely on your teachers all together. Teachers are approachable and free most of the time for the need of the students. They have a positive approach to teaching and mentorship.

The faculties of the college are well abled and highly skilled.They are efficient and capable to catch the mind of students.Many of them have PhDs in respected subjects.They are well oriented and practised guys.They have a keen attention on the student oriented activities and extra curricular programs.

Faculty is better when it is compared with other institutions. But sudden transfers make little awkwardness among children. And some of the teachers enter in long leave and it has to fulfill with unskilled new faculties it may cause little retardation in scale to teaching

Provides best platform to come out as a lawyer

Faculty:

Some of them are permanent teachers and others are guest staffs. All the teachers are enough qualified for their subjects. Especially legal subjects comprise a good faculty. I would give a rating of 4/5 for law subject faculty and a rating of 3/5 for business subject teachers.
