Government Law College Kochi B.Com + L.L.B {Hons. : Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Since it is a government college the fees are pretty low compare to what we have to pay in private colleges or even in national universities. The total fess for the ehole five years is around 15 thousand and if there is scholarships available the fees will only be a small amount! During the admission time the Student has to pay around 5000 but if you are from SC or ST we only have to pay about 2700.

Year wise fee paid is 2500 and that is the tuition fee for a year. During the time of the admission you are supposed to pay PTA fund, Caution Deposit and Admission fee which will be a total of 6000. People who are eligible to avail E-grants doesn't have to pay any fee

I don't remember the first fee that I paid but from second semester the fee was Rs. 2392/- ( ?1575 for the tuition fee and ?817 for stationary fee). Then for the third semester the fee was 2427/- and the fee that I paid for the seventh Sem was 2452/-. This the latest fee that I've paid. The students having E-grants doesn't have to pay any fee but have to pay semester examination fees.

Tution fee remains constant throughout the course, the total fee including all charges comes upto maximum 6000 per year, which is really affordable for most students that want to pursue LLB compared to other options, scholarships and financial aid is available to students with economic difficulties such as E grants programme by the government which covers all academic expenses and on top of that provides the student with 750/- rupees per month. I have not undertaken any campus employment.

I got egrantz scholarship from the Kerala government and so there is no exam fee or semester fee for me. There is no other financial assistance for any student in the college. There is no job or placement opportunity.

Since it was a new course, there is some confusion in syllabus, apart from that the course is yet the best, hopefully it will pave way for more career options as it is a double degree honours programme.

The course curriculum is fairly appropriate. All the needy and important facilities are present here. The students of my college are bold enough to resist anything that does not go up with our expecatations and needs, hence problems are short term and are usually solved quick. The teachers are supportive to a good extent. Enough freedom or more is given too.

Courses offered in our college are 5 year integrated B. Com LL. B, 3 year LL. B and LL. M. The undergraduate integrated programme offered by the college is a combination of Law and Commerce which enables a bright future to the students. The college has well experienced faculties with a great support and dedication.

We are affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. Our course curriculum for the batch 2016-2021 was newly devised as we are the first batch in our college pursuing a B. Com. LL. B (Hons.) degree. It was fairly new, but we’ll balanced between law and B. Com. subjects, equipping in all major fields of accounting and basic management and its legal sides too, while the law was full on the whole of what a future lawyer would need to be a good guide towards justice. Academically, as our college is one of the first to feed on the Top Rank holders in KLEE every year, we get the best of the best students in our college. Everyone is studious, has an exceptionally good power in the English and the local language, and even in Hindi. There is an undercurrent of competition among students that keeps getting better each time the final results are published, gaining our college 1st 2nd and 3rd ranks every year for past several years in a row now.

The course syllabus is well updated, yes we were provides enough moot court exposure, So cooperating. No thanks. Trust me, I have nothing more to say about the college in which I study. I hope everything goes well.
