I am not sure of the intership opportunities offered in the college but I do know that summer internship starts after 3rd year and almost all students are supposed to take part in it. After the second year they are asked to go for craft doc where they are expected to visit a place of traditional craft and document it as they learn from it

Interships from within India as well as outside India are provided. Mostly depends on your capabilities and how you perform. You can intern at many famous showrooms or shopping platforms which may or may not include stipend.

There are many opportunities for interships in our college there is a mail id where we get updates about the internships and placements it is compulsory for us to do internship in 3 year's year break.

There are many renowned and local companies which hire students for summer internships or regular internships and all are paid. They also provide with certification and recommendation letter. Which helps further in future.

The placements are decent. As mentioned, they bring in corporate companies rather than design studios, so it is a given that you get a good salary. The placements department coordinates through email and you have to do tasks and interviews until finally get the job. A lot of students apply on their own too though.

Some companies that came for internships and placements over the years are Deloitte, tata motors, Pune gas, Elle, outhouse, nift, voltas, surreal design studio, Accenture, first cry, reliance brands and so on.

Companies such as Infosys, Autoline Industries Ltd., Cognizant, and Whirlpool have hired from this institute. Third-year students get summer internships and projects with various companies as part of their education.

A 3rd-year summer internship is a mandatory requirement for graduation. Multiple companies mentioned on the official website take in students for internships and perform tasks within their specialization to understand the industry interaction and the actual prospects of the job in their specialization. In my specialization, the tasks could be related to interior design, interior design consultant, furniture designer, lighting designer, commercial space designer, landscape designer, retail space design, and public space designer.
