The soccer ground is amazing and huge and makes the college very extracurricular friendly
There are collectively 3 hostels for girls zuleka and gardenia it's greenery of the accommodation has always been maintaining and beautiful the wardens are highly friendly and sweet and food is actually good campers to so many others
I like the part where it is well oriented and systematic in all aspects

Dislikes

Some faculties are very bad and have partiality for some students
Competition minded people around us is negative
The hostel food is not improving and many students have an complaint about it

My Yen Life

Likes

The patient exposure we get. Thus helping us have good practice
The football ground where we can have good games
The wiFi in the hostel helping us to be entertained

Dislikes

The strictness of the hostel. That everyone should enter by 10pm.
The less night life around the campus. No shops at night or clubs
Fines and suspension for every little silly mistakes

I would rate this course a 10 out of 10. I like BDS very much and intended to take it up. I like the patient work. The clinical aspects of the training. And also the interactions witht he people from different backgrounds.

I like lotus cafe. And also yen store cause most of the time i keep my textbooks over there so that i wouldnt carry it always since i travel to mangalore daily ip and down. And also i like the surrounding area of the college.
I like how yenepoya is built beautifully the surrounding
Also i like rain tree cafe. Where we get nice food. Biriyani is yum. And other food too. Its a nice place to chill with friends.

Dislikes

Staying late after class. If we get case late and when we finish our case it will be very late and also reaching time also will be delayed
Too much work sometimes to complete. Very tiring. Lot to do and lot to study. And complete eveything upto date or else imposition.
Earky morning 8 AM class. They coukd atkeast start the class around 9 which would be better. Travelling waking up earlly will be so tiring cause i do up and down daily

Course Curriculum Overview:

Clinical aspects this course gives more importance. Like more patient interaction and patient taking guves us more practice and experience. We have three inetrnals and one university. In three internals we should get maximum of 3.5/10 when we take average of three internals. By this we can study well and also for university it will be a revision.

Life in Yenepoya

Likes

campus , hostel, soccer ground, library,
food and security, drinking water which is of high quality
we do have canteen and cafes inside campus which quite cheap

i always wanted to be a doctor that's why i chose this course. i find it very easy when it comes to academics and my staffs are very supportive and they use modern ways which makes the teaching easy. exams are conducted yearly and throughout the year we also have three internal assessments

Do good

Likes

I like the part where it is well oriented and systematic in all aspects
I like how the interaction between lecturers and students are really good
Seniors are really friendly and like brothers and sisters

Dislikes

I dislike is the dogs which are unwell and unhygienic roam around the campus sometimes
And price of the canteen which is a little higher

I chose this course because i had a goal of becoming a dentist since childhood. And i am really happy taking up this course, I've learnt a lot and still more to learn from here. Everything is good, they keep giving tests internals and it is really challenging and overall it prepares us to become a better dentist

The beautiful part of life

Likes

Campus is enormous and sooooo beautiful the lovely helpful staff both teaching and non teaching
The huge soccer ground that has amazing intercollegiate events that take place so frequently

Dislikes

The curfew of the hostel is toooo short makes it difficult to have a good social life
The no. Transport buses to and fro from the hostel are too less which leads to over crowding
The closure of gate to restrict students from going outside by 8

Well the departments mainly gives importance to topics which are more commonly and generally dealt in a natural clinical setting. The make us practice and perfect techniques and skills which has to be perfected to acquire the post of a doctor.

For the better future

Likes

The green environment of our college and its student friendly and love the serenity of the college
The facility to move around the campus with electric bikes and bicycle and scooter is a plus point
The library is well very equipped and canteen food is really good given it has almost every variety

Dislikes

Less patient exposure in some department
More communication with the faculties and subjective thinking among students
Improve the infrastructure of the course and help us to improve our skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's really nice to interact with people and help them to acheive thier concerns and to see them smile at the end of the day. Personally i feel like the curriculum needs to less based on quota completion and more on improving your clinical skills and master the skills. The curriculum prepares you like 50% and rest you should fill the void. Teaching methods is good and more explanation with the patient. The frequency of exam is good

Good college for BDS

Admission:

Admission is given on the basis of Rank and 12th marks. One needs to appear in NEET as they consider the rank scored in NEET. Minimum marks (in 12th) to be eligible to sit in counselling are 50%( in physics chemistry biology). One need to fill the college form from their website.

The college offers admission into its MBBS program based on NEET rankings. NEET cut-off refers to the minimum rank that candidates are required to secure in NEET to be eligible for admission into the college. NEET cut-off score of individual medical colleges is released after publication of NEET Results. I scored 456 in NEET and was able to get into this colege.

Remarks:

Coming to pros and cons;Yenepoya is good when it comes to academics and we expect few college events to happen a year other than renaissance.As far as we College students are concerned fee fests and events will add color to our college life.
