Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The clinical aspects and the scope of this course made me choose this course. The curriculum which was interesting also influenced me.The curriculum clearly focuses on the clinical application which is very useful for both practice and further studies. The teaching method should have more explanation with more number of patients and exposure.Frequency of exams is thrice an year which is average

Internships Opportunities

3.5

No companies are offered.Internahip should be done under the college only.No projects are needed.Passing fourth year automatically enters into internship.Stipend which is present in our bond is 3500 rupees per month

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee there is usually no hike. The complete tuition fee is 20 lakhs and hostel fee is 6 lakhs.People who have score PCB more than 90% will get 25% reduction of the total fees. This will carry on if the student scores more than 70% in every university exam.Stipends are usually given in internship

Campus Life

4

The names change every year depending on the batch which is hosting it (aura, Zeugma, etc).A wide range of accessibility of books and journals is there in the library.Smart classes with the use of TV and projector. Tournaments are held frequently for cricket and football. Extracurricular activities are very less.Student run social groups are not there .

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The room has one washroom bathroom, four beds one washbasin , four almirahs, and one window.Nonveg is served four times weekly .Dinner is usually good but lunch is very bad most of the days and breakfast is average.

Admission

Anybody who was qualified neet entrance (with cutoff of 200 marks) could apply for this course. The application form and fee structure will be given by the administration department. The dates will be applied online.Three internals and One University exam will be conducted each academic year. The difficulty level is average and might become difficult occasionally.Area of improvement in admission process which I felt was they should give a proper clarity of fee structure which is now given vaguely.

Other Applied Colleges

Vellore Institute of Technology - [VIT University] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Biomedical Engineering)

Changed my mind later as this course was not found worth

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always wanted to join medical services.Although during my neet ug entrance I could not make it to mbbs but dental was the choice only left I dont regret my choice because its way too vast for anyone Curriculum gives you basic knowledge but clinical practice actually prepares for the real world.Dentistry is all about art and skills I feel areas for improvement is only the exam factor.Number of exams are too much and they should reduce the exam pressure into few Frequency of exams are 4 exams per year and in final year 8 exams including part 1 and part 2 Difficulty level is too much, every exam requires thorough knowledge of the subject

Course Curriculum Overview:

•The course is not that tough but it's not that easy too. •It requires dedication and time. •Theory is needed but in dentistry hand work is utmost important. •To excel in the clinics we should develop our hand skills. •A lot of patient flow helps the students to perform their best because they get tp practice more. •A lot of patience is required in this field. •One should have patience to get patients. •The exams are not very tough to crack. •Regular studies will help to score excellent marks •People also pass by studying from 1 month before the final exam

Bapuji Dental College and Hospital - [BDCH], Bachelor of Dental Science [BDS]

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i wanted to be a dentist. The student ratio Of boys and girls is 50-50 approximately The faculty staff is so big and helpful towards students. Professors are well qualified but the Teaching method isn't really good in a few subjects also 80 students so professors can't focus on individual students. Overall it's ok. Term exams are yearly annual exams. There is no semester system. It is hard to pass per year because the syllabus is so lengthy and subjects are hard. You need to prepare well to pass.
