Dislikes
lack of expertise of faculties in some subjects. exams not informed prior from a month.
assignment submissions/exams/academics collide with the scheduling of events or run back to back, indicating lack of management.
lack of equiment availability, lack of communication. assignments of some subjects not given prior, given a day before submission.
Placement Experience:
campus placements are decent. renowned companies come every year to offer an average salary of 5-7LPA. Students post their clerkship become generally eligibile in the 6th year of their course.
highest package was 7LPA according to sources[may vary]
companies like HIMALAYA, and other medical brands tend to come to the college.
percentage of students getting placements varies from year to year.
my plans after gettting the degree are mostly further educational pursuits with a educational job.
College infrastructure is really good as it consists of alot of labs which is important for our course.
Library is really helpful it consists of all the important books.
The faculty is really helpful in all the aspects.
Dislikes
Campus life is 0 because there is no playground present only basketball court is there.
The faculty do discrimination between the favourite students.
The placement is not that much good in the college.
Placement Experience:
The placement is average because good companies come for the interview in college such as sun Pharma, alchem, etc .
Most of the students opt for PhD after this course in a specific subject and rest go for buisness.
I like the college. I love the teaching methods according to the Pharm D course. Teachers are very good.
Placement is very good in Indira college. Students get opportunities to do jobs in various fields.
Infrastructure of college is very good and well maintained.
Dislikes
Students get Less opportunities for internship
Course Curriculum Overview:
I want to become a clinical pharmacist to help doctors with medication and prescriptions. At Indira College of Pharmacy, the faculty is excellent. All the faculty are qualified pharm D. Faculty used the screen for teaching students to visualise things. There are 3 sessional exams in Pharm D and last, there is an annual exam which is the University exam.
I like the things in Indira college of pharmacy is not all about
Dislikes
College campus is also very small. I don't like it.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose Pharm- D Course due to I was not able to get a score well in the NEET examination. I want doctor degree so I choose this course. In this course for each college, there are 30 seats. Faculty are qualified M pharm Or Pharm d their technique is good for teaching but they don't give attention to every student. There are 3 internal examinations among this average of 2 in which good Mars obtained takes and then the last examination that is university exam occurs. The passing criteria are we should have 50 per cent marks in each subject. I rate the course and faculty with 2 stars
The course of doctor of pharmacy was only available in Maharashtra in this college and Bharati Vidyapeeth. The fee of Bharati was much higher than this college. Therefore I decided to take my admission in this college.
Teaching Faculty are almost of higher post and having many years of experience. The institute has very good name in educational field. Most of the teaching staff is doctorate and in our field it is good because we can get more practical knowledge from them as we are also going to be doctor
As I wanted to purse PharmD, Indira college of pharmacy is one of the best college in Maharashtra for PharmD course. I opted PharmD as this course is new and a bit different from other courses. PharmD is a course which allows the pharmacist to work in clinical aspects in hospitals. The thing I like most about our college is the teachers and the campus.
Quality of education and no travelling issues. The staffs are very kind hearted, supprtive and have good experience. They not only help us grow in educational aspect but also help in overall development
It was the only college in Maharashtra which had good reviews regarding all the factors. All the other college didn't had this course and my college provided hostel and other facilities which made me choose this college.
One of the best college for PharmD as only few colleges in Pune offer this courseFlexible travelling timeGood teaching and infrastructure The college has got more than 25 years of experience in this field of pharmacy
