Techno Main Salt Lake Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

It's one of the best colleges in West Bengal which takes care of the student's all-round development marked with curricular as well as extra-curricular activities enabled with moral education and ethics.

Positive:- Ragging is not allowed. Good Humanities lab, Good Computer Lab, Air conditioner good, Good Activities Happen, Good books are available in library, Good Faculty, Negative:- Library is so small, Lack of faculty, Need more placement for CE and ME department, College campus is very small , Swimming pool is not good, Grounds is very small, Musical Instruments is not available, Parking is very small.

Overall if I rate my College it's a very good college in Kolkata. But there are some negative sides as well. The college is having very small campus. There is no proper place as playground. On more thing is that from the day one I joined this college I am seeing the construction work going on in the campus, which sometimes really disturb during the classes. The college is also having very small library.

In our life or society, there exist both negative as well as positive. In our college there is placement issues for core branch. And it's serious problem but something is also good like biggest fest of our college give us opportunity to enhance us.

Positive Remarks : the college is geographically situated at one of the prime locations of the city. So, transportation will not be an issue from any part of town. Negative Remarks : nothing as such. Except only, any college approval or requests take a lot of time to get resolved due to immense student pressure.

I have got addmission on the basis of jee mains marks. The admission process to Techno Main Salt lake. for all the UG/PG course will be based on West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination(WBJEE) and jee mains conducted by Government of West Bengal. Based on the merit-wise rank list in the entrance examination, the admission will be conducted to the students. Counseling will be held according to the ranks list.

Basically our department consists of really good faculty members whose support is always there which is very useful or need for a student to succeed. In a nutshell the best part about this is the student teacher relationship we have is awesome !!

As a student of the college and an active member in all the college organizations and events I can say that life here is good. People have a life after their studies which is very important and helps a person grow in all respects.

Overall our college is a great mixture of academics and extracurriculars. They've balanced the schedule really well so that we can conduct and participate in all events without lagging in academics. So my overall review is pretty positive
