IISER Pune Scholarship 2026: Amount, Eligibility, Selection Criteria

The fee structure is great. It is almost 50000 per semester. About 20000 goes into hostel and the rest goes into tuition fee and other amenities. This does not include the mess as such as it's pay to eat system here

IISER Pune: Worth the hype?

Year wise total fees are 63000 including lab fees, hostel fees, medical insurance, library fees, exam fees, exam transcript fees, etc. The mess charges are seperate but subsidised. Medical insurance covers a lot of expenses in hospitals.

IISER Pune classifies the fee structure into two categories. The first category stands for Gen/OBC/EWC/KM and the 2nd for SC/ST/PwD. The total fees for the first category(including hostel) is Rs 71,502/sem and for the 2nd category is Rs.27047/sem. This includes Admission fee of 3k for both categories, Hostel Admission fee of 1k, Alumni fee of 1k, Convocation fee-3.5k, Tution fee-44455 and other sports, library fees.

IISER PUNE Comprehensive review with insights.

The course fees per year for general and obc students is 80,000 and for sc/st/pwd is extremely low around 25,000. The fees remain same across course. The scholarship are of 2 type 1) through National Scholarship Portal , from which you can get your tution fees back. 2) Merit base scholarship , the most popular here is INSPIRE Scholarship, students who are in top 1 percentile of their class 12 board and under 10000 rank in jee mains and jee advanced.

IISER Pune : an honest review

i will be paing 63500 per semester or 1.27 lakhs a year for BS MS program at iiser pune. for students of sc st category the fees is 27500 per semester or 55000 per year . the institute supports the DST INSPIRE scheme in which selected candidates get 5000 per month over the course duration

IISER Pune- The best social place for science

So the average fee per annum for the BSMS Program is approximately 92k. It includes 68k for tution fee, 3.5k for annual medical insurance, 2k for sports amenities, 4k for library and laboratory facilities, 1.5k for examination and grade card fee, 4k for hostel rent, 4k for electrical and water services. For category students, all the charges mentioned above is same except for the tution fee which is completely waived for them. For scholarships, it offers NSP, INSPIRE which was approximately 1 lakh per annum. It also offers other financial assistance of its own.

Collge is best

College fees are normal. Compared with other colleges, the fees of our college are less. And scholarship is also available in college. Poor students are given a lot of priority. And mess fees are not included in college fees.

While KVPY scholarships end in 2022, INSPIRE remains the main scholarship initiative for students. You can apply for the Inspire scholarship if you belong to the top 1 percent of your respective state boards, the scholarship amount is sixty thousand per annum. If you are a kvpy fellow, you will get a KVPY scholarship throughout the course period. The students joining the institute through the IIT-JEE stream are eligible for an INSPIRE scholarship that provides a monthly stipend of Rs. 5000/month. Other students who join the institute through the KVPY stream get a scholarship of Rs.5000/month for the initial 2 years and then Rs.8000/month for the next 3 years via KVPY.
