Journey of my college

Likes

Events of the clg are awesome with so many engineering days
Some days are example traditional day, bollywood day
Dj night , sports day and so many days I will enjoy

Dislikes

I don't have anything for dislike but there is minor problem for placement
I don't have anything for dislike my clg is awesome
All things are good at my college staff is also good

My course is information technology second year in MET College which is the top most branch in engineering there is no difficulty level but the practical exams are too tough for getting clear for students

The Campus is very good and the structure of campus is also attractive have a very big college
having a large canteen with good facilites
Various events are arranged for students every month

Dislikes

No big Comapanies come to College for Placments and the avg package (engineering) is about 3.6lakh
in library , there are ac but they dont put it on
according to my review i feels that the uniform should be changed as it looks like petrol pump uniform especially for engineering students

Placement Experience:

From the 6th Semester Students are Eligible for the placements . Companies visited to college for placemts are Zensar , Bharat Nxt etc. The Highest College Package is 7 lakh. 45 % of students getting placements. To get a high paying job is my plan to get after the degree

Likes

The college infrastructure is good..it is a big college, which seems like a architecture college, there are various studios for various activities.
Boys to girl ratio is almost similar. But in some classes the girls ratio is more than boys.
Fire safety and cctv surveillance is available in the campus and the canteen facility is also good.

Dislikes

The staff here is not upto the mark. There is a shortage of staff too..and the old staff is leaving the college and the newer staff is not able to provide a good study experience.
Not much extra curricular activities/facilities available. The sports ground is built yet it is not maintain and there is no such sports happening there throught out the year.
Being a new college , there is no college culture built and there is no much exposure of outside world to the Student's

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good yet there should be more aspect of professional practice and site visits and more exposure of the real should be given to the students. The internship program should be kept after the thesis graduate project as the student is left with no interest of studying again after the internship. The frequency of exam and the course of architecture is a very burdened course. There is no free time for students to percieve their other hobbies.

My college Infrastructure because its really have the good campus everywhere is greenery and very refreshing environment .The faculty is very good at teaching i like the every teacher very much
Our College Canteen food is very excellent and they maintain the hygiene very much. They made Food that love every student we always prefer that food instead of going out.
I love the event and function of my college there are various activities they conduct like sports, dance for placement they conduct different webinars

Dislikes

My college lab computers system are the poor and the management are not much proper .

Curriculum is very good at the teching in every cousre they give the proper knowledge of real world scenarios like the internship we have to perform in this course so this is example of they told to experience withe the real world application

There is in campus placement provide in our college the acreage package of placements is 400000-500000 the college provide training to get ready for placement and when placement drive happen in college they select lot of student form placement drive

The surroundings and overall campus is really good
The classes and labs are made really nice
Good events and multiple extra curricular activities

Dislikes

Delayed examination and timetable from university
No proper guidance from university about semester planning

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, Students are eligible to apply for internship and placements of their respective branches. Companies that have visited includes : Tata,L&T,Wipro etc. Percentage of students getting placements ranges from 81 to 93% My plans after deegre is to go for masters

A brief information about the met institute of engineering, nashik

Likes

The collage Library was good and the classroom and the labs also spacious
Collage cantin was very big and the good quality is also best
The Events conducted by the collage are beautiful

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement Faurcia, armstrong, Mahindra and Mahindra,etc these companies visited the collage and 10-15 students are placed in for the job Highest package given by the faurcia which was the 8lakh per annum for the software engineer position and the average package is the arround 4-5lakh Percentage of students getting 35-40% I'll do the job after getting the degree

College campus is very top class compared to other colleges
Except academics other curricular activites and functions are also organised for stundets development

Dislikes

We have almost no placement in our batch there were hardly 1 2 companies who showed interest for campus placement
Improvement needed for practical knowledge of students

I have interest from begining for this course building something new challenging so I decided to persue this course Basically the overall curriculum is designed in therotical manner which somehow dose not fits in real world challenges It should be more focused towards practical knowledge then theoritical Timing and frequency of exams are proper as per course and difficulty level
