ASM’s Institute of Business Management & Research (ASM IBMR) was founded in the year 1983 and is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. Situated at Pune in Maharashtra, ASM IBMR currently offers Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in three specializations at the postgraduate level along with Ph.D at the research level.

Students who have passed Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate are eligible for MBA admission.
Applicants who have PG Degree in relevant discipline with minimum 2 years of work experience are eligible for Ph.D. admission.
For admission to any PGDM, the candidate must have passed Graduation Degree in concerned discipline with at least 45% marks.
Admission to MBA is given through centralized admission process conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.
Selection of the candidates for admission to the PhD program is done on the basis of the written test and interview.
Admission to Post Graduate Diploma program is given on the basis of candidate’s academic performance and interview.
Application form for each course could be submitted through online or offline mode. Payment of the fee will be done through DD.
ASM is only Indian Institute to sign the enterprise agreement with Harvard Business School to provide program under its assistance to students.

ASM IBMR Pune PGDM & MBA Admission 2024

ASM’s Institute of Business Management and Research offers PGDM course in three specializations in association with reputed companies. The intake capacity for PGDM Dual Specialization is 120 and for PGDM Emerging Technologies and PGDM Agribusiness, it is 60 each. Candidates who have completed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST category) from a recognized university and having a valid CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT/CMAT/ATMA are eligible for admission to PGDM course.

In addition to it, the institute also offers MBA dual specialisations course with a total intake of 360 seats. Candidates who have passed Graduation Degree course with minimum 50% marks (45% for the reserved category) in any discipline with valid CAT/CMAT/MHMBACET score are considered eligible for MBA program.

Upon selection, the candidate may take admission within the stipulated date by paying the tuition fees and submitting the relevant documents in original. Candidates can submit the application form available at the institute or by post or may be downloaded along with 10th, 12th, Graduation mark sheets, entrance exam score card, & photo id proof.

Admission to MBA courses is given through centralized admission process conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra or candidates could apply for institute level admission as well.

Selection of the candidate to the PGDM course will be done on the basis of the following factors:

Score in any one of the six All India tests i.e. (CAT/CMAT/MHMBACET) the common entrance examinations (if any) conducted by the respective State Governments. – 35 to 60%.
Score for academic performance in X Std., XII Std., Under Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Degree – 5 to 25%.
Group discussion/interview – 20 to 45%.
Weightage for participation in Sports, Extra-Curricular activities, Academic diversity and Gender diversity – 5 to 20%.

ASM IBMR PhD Admission 2024

At the doctoral level, the institute offers Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) with a total intake of 60 seats. Candidates who possess PG Degree program in relevant discipline with minimum 2 years of work or teaching experience are considered eligible for admission to the Ph.D. program.

ASM IBMR Application Process 2024

Candidates can apply online or offline for admission to any part-time/ full-time courses offered by the institute. The application form is made available on the website of the Institute and can be downloaded to submit offline.

On the next page, click the “Apply Online” button next to the desired course.
Fill up the application form.
Upload all the required documents.
Complete the form and submit it within the stipulated time.

Offline Mode:

Pros and cons of Studying in Asm's Ibmr pune

Admission:

1) admission process was simple where u just need to have 50% in your 12th examinations and helps better if u gave any competitive exams such as Mat or Cat 2) u don't need to find application! One can Google the college faculty number and contact directly with them and the rest the admission faculty will guide them 3) reservation benefits are there likes scholarships for scheduled castes , and scheduled tribes 4) timings of exams are poor as exams happens in qauterly basis but in this college exams happen every 3 months. 5) in admission process college should provide real and not fake prospect about the college

One of the best college in Pune

Admission:

You can apply for MH-CET and then you can select the college as per your score. Government conduct CET exam and then you can opt for this college as per your score. The college is old so average score is 150+ And there are three rounds for selection Ypu can visit college and give your documents. Admission process is very smooth All the administration people are very cooperative.

As I completed my graduation in 2018 I always wanted to get admission in best bschool for pursuing MBA. So I decided and written MAT exam. And got good score and I applied this ASM IBMR college, because this is the only one college in india that is providing HARVARD online courses, apart from Harvard certificate our college is partnered with AMAZON, IBM, SAP to for online courses, recently it was partnered with COURSERA also. And it is one of the best bschool in india.

Good and old faculties with a messed system

Admission:

The admission process is very simple. I got a faculty cum guide for helping me for admission. So I always contracted with that person for admission process and came to college for once for fill up the form, signature and I paid through online. Admission continued for a month after course started(but they already appeared in entrance exam)
