Admission in this course was fully based on merit. Students after qualifying higher secondary examination or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board are eligible to get admission in this course.

The admission process depends upon the results in the last qualifying examination. I got admission in this course after qualifying my bachelor degree in mechanical engineering with 70 percent marks from a recognised university. The minimum requirement is 50 percent of marks in B. E/B.TECH Mechanical/Marine /Automobile engineering with minimum 50 percent of marks are eligible to get admission in this course. There is 5 percent of relaxation for SC /ST students.

The admission process in Gujarat is through an ACPC online admission process. There are three different rounds in which you have to fill the desired colleges. Based on rank who have registered in the online admission process, you get admission in the college.

The college takes in students through their score in the JEE main exam. The cutoff is declared after the results are out and those who clear the cutoff set by the college are called in for counseling and there the admission procedure is discussed.

I will not say that RK university is best but it have good reputation and also won many awards for there different fields . Recently they have started funding for start up and entrepreneurship which is helpful for many students. If any students gets average marks in there 12th than I will suggest them to take admission in RKU , but they have good score than there are many other good options other than RKU.
