Is there any fee concession for reserved category students in UPSEE/AKTU?

In AKTU, reserved categories are given certain concessions in college fees in terms of Fee waiver and scholarship given by the UP government for UPSEE/AKTU.

What are the entrance exams accepted by the AKTU Faculty of Architecture?

Candidates seeking admission to the BArch, M. Arch, or M. Plan programme in this university must have a valid score for UPSEE clearance. M.Arch applicants who have a valid GATE score are also eligible for direct programme admission. This university also provides research courses (P. HD) as well.

How is the placement of this university?

As always, the placements through this college are, without any doubt, 100%. The organisations handpick the students. The salary would increase significantly in a short period of time with regard to the quality of work. Supreme has recently visited and offered jobs to up to 5 students. Students have been offered every kind of role as a designer. Every year, we will get a 100 per cent internship from the college, and the stipend varies.

How is the infrastructure of this college?

High-speed Wi-Fi access is available 24/7, and all corners of the campus are available. The classroom is well maintained and the hygiene condition is maintained with appropriate electrical services. There is a great library with a good collection of books, including both old and new and some of the important books. The Bank of the Book is a bonus. A fitness gym with modern equipment and a sports club for games and other activities are also available in the hostel. In the canteen and mess, the quality of the food provided is a little above average. With neatness and sufficient space, the hostel rooms are well-equipped with daily requirements. Since I came to this college at that time.

Likes

College is very well reputed in UP and India formerly known as GCA.
Faculty is very experienced here and good in teaching.
Most of the faculty members studied from IITs and CCA.

Dislikes

1st semester of the college is very hectic.
Faculty is nice but they give a lot of work.
College campus is small (5 acre) but overall campus provide alot of things to do academically.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is very hectic. You have to submit the assignments in next class. Teaching method is ok, not very well, but when you ask questions they teach you very nicely. Exams are moderately tough according to architecture.

Likes

The campus Is not so large, but still well equipped with all that you need for Studios Library lecture halls
They also have an activity centre, badminton court, table, tennis tables, and a small ground which we play volleyball, Cric
The faculty 2 student ratio is very good of the college

The campus is very And sometimes feels it is too small
The workload, you have to do a lot of work in architecture

The curriculum mainly focuses on the architectural aspects. They organised yearly trip for bates to visit and see some architecture sites by their self and also the faculty asked students to visit some local sites.

The classrooms aka studios are well equipped with the right kind of furniture allowing students to work in a systematic manner
The library of the college is its best part which is also one of the best libraries in the whole state
College provides and labs and workshops with all the facilities required

Dislikes

Some faculty members are just not there to help while some are excellent architects
The degree is hectic and mental health is neglected alot
No A/C accomodations are provided and senior to junior bond is a taboo at first, too much strictness for nothing

Course Curriculum Overview:

The most difficult situation that a student will face in architecture is taking a 6 hour architectural design paper with no breaks what so ever. The degree is itself is quite hectic and no matter how much you manage it, sleepless nights before submission awaits you. Plus, you will have 3-4 submissions every week.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Faculty here is extremely experienced and is considered India's best faculty in Architecture. Most of them have completed their doctorate in Architecture. The faculty members make sure personal assistance is given to every student. The college provides a number of opportunities as it is a member of NASA India too. Since the faculty members are connected with the industry as well, we always get industry exposure whenever there is an opportunity. The Course curriculum is very useful and it is designed in a way that students can deeply understand the concepts and their applications. Our college is known for winning in competitions held nationwide.
