Faculty of Architecture and Planning, AKTU

Likes

College is very well reputed in UP and India formerly known as GCA.
Faculty is very experienced here and good in teaching.
Most of the faculty members studied from IITs and CCA.

Dislikes

1st semester of the college is very hectic.
Faculty is nice but they give a lot of work.
College campus is small (5 acre) but overall campus provide alot of things to do academically.

Admission:

I applied for the SPA and NIT and I got NIT Jaipur in first round and SPA Vijaywada in last round, but didn't get there because of my less marks in class 12th and my father also suggested me to stay in Lucknow because to convince in travelling.

My experience at faculty of architecture are planning, AKTU

Likes

The campus Is not so large, but still well equipped with all that you need for Studios Library lecture halls
They also have an activity centre, badminton court, table, tennis tables, and a small ground which we play volleyball, Cric
The faculty 2 student ratio is very good of the college

Dislikes

The campus is very And sometimes feels it is too small
The workload, you have to do a lot of work in architecture
75% attendance rule Strict attendance rule

Admission:

I choose this college as it is very Renault college in my area and in my state and I I know many architects who had their degree from this college and their successful in their life. That's why I choose this college. This college takes admission through Nata and the UPtac counselling.

Honest one

Likes

The classrooms aka studios are well equipped with the right kind of furniture allowing students to work in a systematic manner
The library of the college is its best part which is also one of the best libraries in the whole state
College provides and labs and workshops with all the facilities required

Dislikes

Some faculty members are just not there to help while some are excellent architects
The degree is hectic and mental health is neglected alot
No A/C accomodations are provided and senior to junior bond is a taboo at first, too much strictness for nothing

Admission:

The admission is done through NATA. Anyone from general scoring a rank upto 150 in UPTAC can get in easily. You will have to apply for UPTAC with your NATA score and choose this college as your first option

UPSEE exam is the only way to take admission in this college.There is No interview as such for admissionPrepare for UPSEE exam and score a good rank.There is No GD as such for admission process Whole admission procedure is carried out through counseling process. Refer UPSEE website for the same

Old temple of education in Architecture

Admission:

I cleared the GATE Exam in Architecture and Planning,and theres the different counselling method in APJAKTU which happened in the month of July,this counselling is different from their own entrance exam counselling.
