Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum is very hectic. You have to submit the assignments in next class. Teaching method is ok, not very well, but when you ask questions they teach you very nicely. Exams are moderately tough according to architecture.

Internships Opportunities

5

The sheets we make throught our 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year are sent to architects all over the India and specially to the alumni of the college. Then architects select the students for internship. Internship period starts in 4th year for 6 months or we can say our 1st semester of 4th year is full internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a student of FOAP, AKTU, Lucknow. Year-wise fees here is 90000 which you have to pay during the admission. This fees includes every type of fees including development fee, lab fee, internet charge etc. Here fee or every category student is same there is no consession in fees.

Campus Life

4

As a first year student, I don't know much about fests because there was no programs for 1st years in 2 months after admission. But college organises many other things like exhibition of sculptures which are made by our faculty and some students. But yes as I got information from seniors there are fests which we celebrate but the thing is we don't celebrate at a large scale because of small campus size.

Hostel Facilities

3

In hostel we get double sharing room, here we get 2 tables, 2 beds, and chairs. Here you get cupboard engraved in the wall. Hostel fees is 25000/- per semester and mess fees is 20000/- per semester. Here mess food is not too good and not too bad, you can eat for your stomach.

Admission

I applied for the SPA and NIT and I got NIT Jaipur in first round and SPA Vijaywada in last round, but didn't get there because of my less marks in class 12th and my father also suggested me to stay in Lucknow because to convince in travelling.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is about 3:10. Faculty communicates to students very well and teachs accordingly. I like few of the faculty members of design and construction, they are strict but they teach very nicely.

Night Life

5

There is no gym here in college campus. Canteen and library of college closes after 7:00 pm. We can enter college and hostel after 5:00 am. Famous hangout places near the college is Hanumant Dham, Hanuman Setu, Gomti Ghat and Hazratganj market. Locality is safe around here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As my father is an foreman at a constrution site and he always shows me drawings of their site which motivate me to make this type of drawings so i choose Architecture. Some things should change is course curriculum as some subjects like structures should increase their credits bcoz of a more struggle to learn like architectural design. Their is good timing of exams but more days to take whole subjects. it took almost a month to complete 9 subjects exams.
