I like the campus a lot, it's very lively and many people and students are there
I also like that there are festivals like karandak, where all the students can enjoy
I like the food, the canteens, they're pretty great
Dislikes
The college is a bit far, and less accessible
There should be more stationery shops in the campus
The building is of 3 floors but no elevator is present
Course Curriculum Overview:
Architecture is all about learning and implementation. So in the curriculum, we have to make models and bring out ideas to life which really influenced my decision. We are asked to present and talk about our work so we can talk to clients, which prepares us for the real world. One improvement I would like to see is the use of more softwares in the curriculum since 1st year. The exams are mediocre, not too hard, not too easy and the frequency is twice a semester which is pretty good.
To take admission in this college,a student should qualify the NATA exam conducted by the college itself. The minimum eligibility criteria for applying to the course is that the student should score atleast 50% in class 12.
A successful candidate should have passed plus 2. We can either download the application form or by paying the application form fees from the college. We will get notification if we are selected and we should visit the campus for verification of certificates.
The college has a great advantage of Pune city. There are many places for going with friends on a trip. And this college is also good so there is a double advantage why people choose it. Also Mumbai is also near so students also go there.
The college offers admission to its courses on the basis of marks and rank secured in NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) exam. You need to have at least 55% in your class 12th examination to be eligible to fill the form.
The college is best for science stream students who wants to pursue architecture in future. The faculties, facilities of the college, infrastructure, environment, seniors, everything is so positive and energetic.
They ask for our scholarship (money) back. The faculty are experienced and dedicated. The infrastructure, due to lack of funds, has decayed over the years.Whatever equipments are available are old and slow.
Helds good competitions within the college. Do not promote much for NASA events. The faculty helps clearing doubts after lectures. Helps with permission letters for site visits for college work. the culturals held in the campus are really worth participating.
After completing my higher secondary examination with 75 percent of marks, i took admission in this college. Students who cleared their National Aptitude Test in Architecture or JEE Entrance examination are eligible to get admission.
Sinhgad College of Architecture is located in Pune Maharashtra. In order to get enrolled in B. Arch program, the student must have 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized Indian Board. Then they must give the entrance exam NATA. The merit will be the deciding factor for the admission.
