Ggm science college detailed review for students

Likes

The environment of the college is good and very student friendly .
Ragging and harrasment have zero tolerance policy
We have been on some field trips also on a picnic

Dislikes

Poor infrastructure and poorly maintained buildings
The sports department is in shambolic state . No opportunity to sportpersons l
Mismanagement of our time by not managing our time table

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to do pursue the BSc in zoology because I liked the like that however is the additional additional subjects that are given with the zoology under the new education policy are not good at all I struggle for the most part of my education like with my Hindi subject I didn't want to learn Hindi but I had to because it was an obligatory subject to pursue. Exams are medium level but they happen quite of you every third month

ABOUT MY COLLEGE

Likes

College infrastructure is top class, but inside classes there need some renovation. Because classes are very poor.
Social interaction is good and this college provide National service scheme which creates hospitality
Teachers are very good and if a student is curious for his/her studies then that person can achieve the highest point of his course

Dislikes

I dislike the students fight and ragging. There is a incident of a student where a student was beaten by some 6th sem students and that boy jaw was broken
I dislike the internal structure of campus which need improvement

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen because I love my subject zoology (study of animals) I love to study about living organism and I have passion for the study of my subject. The curriculum does not prepare you for real world applications or further academic pursuits. It only give you the knowledge of the subject. They have to include a compulsory course of AI driven course that is more relevant for the future of students.The final exams are quite difficult if you want to pass the examination then you have to study in depth the subject then it is the possibility that you can pass the final examination.

I would prefer the college primarily because of its affordability
The campus has a organized layout offering a blend of mordern infrastructure and green surroundings
The college offers a variety of course types u.g , p.g across multiple disciplines.

Dislikes

The teacher style fees less engaing due to lack of intercative methods
The saintation facilites in the college may be concern due to inconsistent maintenance and cleanliness
The labs may have outdated or insufficient equipment

If u are consudering college for Science stream in jammu,just give this college a shot.U won't be disappointed There is a saying that G.G.M science college (Gandhi Memorial Science college) is oldest in Jammu.Built by Prince of wales.u can get an idea how old is is witha history deep rooted in its students
