- It’s more like an art college.We have plenty of cultural festivals and hobby clubs
- The freedom in our college is one of the important factor to choose this college.No academic pressure at all.
- The students in our college are extremely talented.Obviously,These are best science students in our state.but lower compared to NITC.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure.The college was built in 1939.Our new campus was built in 50 years ago.So it is very old and never maintained properly
- The college area and the people around that are more religious and who follow right politics
- The roads and drainage system in our college is very bad
Placement Experience:
From S4,We can get the internship offers through placement cell.Full fledge placement season is starting from S6 .The highest package is 34 lpa in this year(Texas Instrumentation) .There is an average package of 5 lpa in our college.I got the placement in Tata Consultancy Service.

- Good atmosphere and easily accessible campus.
- Advanced facilities like digital library gymnasium etc
- Experienced faculties who provides us great information
Dislikes
- Laboratory equipments are not upto mark but still good.
- Hostel seats are very limited and not everyone gets hostel admission.
- Some classes are small and it is difficult to accomodate a large number of students
Placement Experience:
The college offers comparitively good placements with respect to other colleges.The average package is about 5LPA. The highest package is for computer science engineering.But core companies like sobha construction L and T also visit the college and hire students.

- The fees!. College of Engineering Trivandrum (CET) have a very low fee structure compared to NIT's IIT's and other private universities. We have a very good return of investment since most of the students first salary is their 4year College Fees.
- Have a very green environment and location of college is just 9km from Trivandrum city so a very peaceful environment but just a 20min ride to any hangout spaces
- Strong alumni connection over 40 countries.
Dislikes
- Faculties are well qualified but somewhat lazy to teach
- Mechanical labs are getting less updations.
- Research environment is comparatively lower
Placement Experience:
Placements in CET is pretty neat. And will be varied according to the tides in the corporate world.
Students can sit for on-campus placement by the end of the Sixth Semester.Off campus have no restrictions.
There is a dedicated Career Guidance and Placement Unit in our college which works solely for the placements of the students.
In 2020-2021 CET had a record placement of 650+ offers from 100+ Companies.
Even during the global job crisis times we had around 400 offers from 50+ companies
Companies like Amazon,IBM,CRED,CISCO,TISMO,Texas Instruments,Air India,MRF,L&T,Royal Enfield, Hundai,Microchip, SHOBHA Developers,Saint Gobaintec and many other companies has came for placements this year.
Around 60% students are placed this year even though the placement is less in all colleges across India.
The highest package for this year is 33 lakh for Texas Instruments and average package is around 4 Lakh to 5 Lakh.

- The Faculty is very experienced. They have years of experience in their field and have graduated from reputed institutions.
- College provides a ton of opportunities to explore your talents outside the academic field.
- The college library is big and has a vast collection of books for every field of engineering.
Dislikes
- The temperature is usually very high. Some days in summer are unbearable .
- The faculty sometimes resort to teaching in malayalam which is difficult for non- keralite students to understand.
- The college hostel has very less rooms and hence a lot of students have to live in PG's.
Placement Experience:
The placements of the college are decent. The average package is around 10,00,000 Rs per year. Companies like CRED, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, UST Global, Tiger Analytics, Mercedes,etc have visited the college. The highest package range from 25 Lakhs to 35 lakhs per annum. The number of students placed is usually above 85 % every year.

- Vibrant campus with lots of cultural diversity. Students from all over Kerala are coming to this college to gather the best education they can. Each of them teach us different lessons on how to live In a society.
- The fests both cultural and technical gives alot of exposure
- Quality of education is high since higher keam ranks are the cut off
Dislikes
- Ktu syllabus the college is under is outdated
- Stray dogs are a growing concern that might be a harm for students
- Infrastructure is old but sufficient but it could use improvement
Placement Experience:
Placements are high in cet . Many companies like Infosys, cognizant,TCS, Texas instruments,UST global, Mercedes offer various levels jobs and internships. The average would be 7Lpa and highest ranging upto 32Lpa

- I love the infrastructure of my college it gives me a very pleasant atmosphere. It help me relax from all the stress
- My college have a lot of colourfull and vibrant fests . Drishti being the technical fest and dhwani being the cultural fest helps me find my inner potentials.there are a lot clubs that help academically too.
- The faculties here are so helpfull. They clear all our doubts whole heartedly and is there to help you throughout.
Dislikes
- During the first year of college i had to study subjects like civil and mechanical which is not required for my core . So that felt hectic
- The assignments are also quite a lot which helps u but still was little hard.
Placement Experience:
The placements in our college are really good. If you are good in any field you can secure placements very easily that too in big multi national companies. Every year a lot of companies visit our college for campus placements . Noted u need to secure a minimum cgpa for those.
