Admission to the Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry is based on a merit list derived from 10+2 marks in the science stream, including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. After the merit list, a short interview further determines admission eligibility. The program boasts highly qualified faculty members with PhDs and master's degrees, recognized for their research achievements nationally and internationally. They provide both theoretical and practical guidance, aiding students in problem-solving and future career planning.
The course fee ranges from 25,000 to 35,000, which is considered reasonable given the educational and practical training provided. The first-year fee might vary due to self-supporting courses. Placement opportunities are currently limited, but the college is making efforts to enhance them through a dedicated placement cell and partnerships with companies like Stannis Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and Maya Research and Learning Pvt. Ltd. Students gain additional exposure through a study trip to Phycospetrum Analytical Lab.
Although the college does not offer direct internships, it guides students in securing them independently. Scholarships are available for students from reserved categories, supported by a trust, the central and state governments, and the educational institution itself. Loan facilities are not provided by the college, but students can obtain loans from banks.
