Cochin University College of Engineering Kuttanad Alappuzha Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

A good number of companies are visiting colleges for placement. The majority are IT companies. Many students especially students other than computer science and information technology are also getting placed in IT companies. Also, some get placed on their own core companies

The students get the eligibility to sit for placement from the 7th semester. The top companies visiting are cisco, TCS, Wipro, amazon, etc. The highest package got was 41 lakhs and the average package will be 5lakh. Above 90 percent of students are placed in different companies.

This course has more projects.IT and CS and almost the same in the syllabus and both get equal opportunities in placement. In every branch, 40-60 students are there. Now about teachers, Most of the teachers/professors are well qualified.Exams are not that tough but I hated their internal exam routine. Within 3 days they complete internal exams of 6 subjects.

I chose this college because it is mainly a subcampus of Cochin University of Science And Technology and the engineering department here is very famous. It has good placement records and those who score good marks in their course of study throught the 4 years, he /she can easily get placed in a good company. The average placement package her is around 5 lakhs. The highest is around 25 lakhs something. The faculties here are really excellent and they are very friendly. To get admission here you have to write the all india entrance exam called CUSAT CAT which has exam centers all over India and also abroad. The fees here is very affordable. For students in Kerala the annual fees is around 50k but for students from other states the annual fees is around 1 lakh. But since there are scholarships you will get money back after sometimes. The college campus (second campus in Kuttanad) is not very grand as you can see in private colleges. Tge compound wall is under construction and there are no big buildings and gardens. But you will find alk the essential needs here. The library is very much excellent with thousands of books and there are hostel facilities too. Ragging is prohibited here and after a couple of months joining here, you will be best friends with almost all the seniors. Overall if you chose this College you will not become disappointed at all. You will make really good memories and if you word smart you will end up getting a good job through placements. Less tidy environment, salty water and lack of fundamental facilities like buildings.

The positive remarks are we can keep/get a good friendship with our seniors and with teachers. which may helpful for our Internal marks. the negetive remarks are college campus is too short and the locals behaviour with us not much good.

Overall cllg is good but infrastructure of second campus is still in developing stage and will have all faculties soon

College management is know for its academic activities. But in case of the infrastructure of the college it's not well maintained.

Actually pretty big and nice vibe and atmosphere.

Our college have very good facilities. They have well educated faculties. All over our college is best. Many facilities are available internship is also available. Placement is approx good many company visit to our college.
