Pondicherry Engineering College was once one of the top most colleges in India. Though it experienced a roller coaster ride through out years now the institution is running very successfully with great placements. Few things about college may seem bizarre like having convocation three whole years after graduation and all. Just like all the government institutions, things run slowly but they are done right.

Admission is based on jee mains marks Based on application merit list is published Based on merit list u will be called for cource selection. Who ever get good jee rank will be selected. Along with this state category is also available

Merit list will be sent by the government of Pondicherry and my name as been selected in these list so I got the seat. By applying on the centac of Pondicherry we will get seat based on merit list provided by the government of Pondicherry.

Good college for days scholars but for hostelers enjoy and have fun. College had good days but as well as bad days but we studied and enjoyed as well the facilities of hostel has to be improved and food is important to provide.

The faculties are best and highly qualified, and also the fee stucutre is so less and affordable for the poor. The hostel has some dis advantage of less qyality in food they provide to the students, thus the hostel food has to be improvised.

For other states students we want to qualify for jee mains. On that mains basis we will get merit list who applied on the basis of that we want to go for counseling process. After that we will get the admission on that.

I think our college is the best college and it is one of the top 50 engineering colleges in India.. it holds 34th rank...

The college is too far from the city and the main is the department blocks is nearly 2kms from the opening gate of the college, it is not sophisticated for students to walk and go to college from the gate.

My college is one of the best place to learn and practice the technology. This institute gives more knowledge to the students.
