The fees structure of delhi university is very simple we have to pay fees semester wise and delhi university fees is also very low .so that's the part i really liked about delhi university .yes delhi university provides scholarship also.
They are very well experienced and most are phd holders, even the guest lecturers are so talented and inspiring and have a way to handle the students.
Last but not the least i liked the infrastructure too..the new building is just awesome. it is the best building among all the colleges.

Dislikes

The benches in the classroom is bad. the white board is also not good
The entrance exam was good but the normalisation process was very disappointed which was for no reason and the biggest game player was obviously the reservation quota(sc/st/obc).
Some teachers are very bad in teaching and they does not focus on student

Zakir Hussain: Improving steadily but we still got miles to go

Likes

teachers are really great and supportive
the area is green and somewhat well maintained by govt college standards
accessibility to principals and higher officials so each student is heard

Dislikes

canteen has sub par food and is quite unhygenic
wifi has no internet in it which is frustrating
the network coverage of the college is EXTREMELY bad.....its hard even calling

Placement Experience:

for campus placement is eligible for 4th and 3rd years ONLY but you can land an internship in the 1st sem only...not that hard, just catch the placement drives. 30-40 percent are able to secure an internship my plans are to do masters abroad and do research

The different aspects of Zakir hussain delhi college

Likes

The first thing which is liked the most is the affordability of the college and also the infrastructure of the college which is good as water and hygiene facilities are good here
Second thing which I liked here is the faculty which is hired here are top class professor from the country who have gone through rigorous tests before teaching us
Thirdly the campus life is very good , there are many societies in the college which develops our co curricular activities skills and also teaches us to become better human beings

Dislikes

The first thing which I disliked was there is full 11 storeyed new building of the college but I don't know for what reasons for the last 4 years they have not opened that building and are teaching us in the old building
Second the placement services provided here are low , very few placement cell and only for few courses only come to our college
Thirdly the amenities are not up to the mark . For ex no sanitary pad machine is present there in the girls common room

The course ba hons persian is somewhat good as the curriculum provides us for real world applications understanding the culture of the world and so on .the areas for improving should be that the faculty of persian should focus how they can add more and more students into the course .the frequency of the exam is there are two semesters held per year with moderate difficulty level

Likes

The college has a very good environment full of positive vibe.
The teachers are very experienced as well as supportive.
The infrastructre is very clean and good.

Dislikes

The canteen is not good and sometimes unhygienic.
The desks are old and there is a chance that they might break
There is sometimes alot of outside disturbances.

i would rate the curriculum 4/5. the couse curriculum is relatively relevant to industry needs but not apllicable to be streen smart.I personally feel that there are some scopes for updating to reflect the constantly changes.

Zakir 1st Sem experience

Likes

overall college is nice. environment is peaceful
and also the connectivity from college to college is good
there are students from different region of india. the girls to boys ratio is approx. 40:60

Dislikes

there is a new building of zakir husain delhi college that was super nice but due to some reasons they don't open that building.
there are some elections related chaos they interrupt classes at election time.
nothing more Zakir husain college is good you can not super good but you also can not bad. its a nice place for students.

i would say that the relevance and comprehensiveness of course were at 4.5/5 relevance- the relevance to the industrial needs is good it well coververd regarding the essentials as well as skills needed. this means that thers's a lot of effort put by the course designers in keeping with the latest trends and developments. comprehensiveness- it is preetty inclusive covering multiple things as in their activies and functions. the courses are properly structured content in an organized manner yet i feel a few could be deepened and some might lacking.

I liked the updating of course according to the latest syllabus.
The teaching of new skill subjects like VAC, SEC for value and skill enhancement.
Campus of college which provides great infrastructure.

Dislikes

The presence of outsiders in our college.
Poor time table of classes and lack of coordination.
High presence of election campaign during election.

There are many internship were offered from starting of the college or 1 st semester but they were out of my interest so I didn't opted for offered intership from starting but it offered regularly in college

Not satisfied from zakir hussain college

Likes

I liked only the infrastructure of the new building which is haven't opened yet.
Tearcher behaviour is good and they teach very good
It is very close to the delhi gate metro station.

Dislikes

It's old buliding infrastructure not enough classrooms
Sports , food and water facilities is not good
Benchs quality is not good .. in summer the fans is not working properly

I have studied commerce in the 12 standard int he previous school in which I have studied in. Therefore I prefer to take admission int he b.com programme department . And I am very satisfied with my course . The teachers are all very good and well managed according to our course And the attendance required to sit in the examination is 66 percentage which good for the students And I have no ideas for improvement because I am satisfied with the academic

The college life in Delhi 6

Likes

The education system and knowledge of highly educated professors.
The sports facilities in the college premises.
The new building of my college is going to open very soon

Dislikes

The old building of my college, its like a monument from mughal period of time
There is no hostel facility of college where the outsiders can live .
The cafeteria or the canteen is not well maintained

The difficulty level of the examination depends on the preparation of the individual student. Its not that hard to clear a simple examination of the graduation course, the classes are held during the semester and the professor are there to help you over difficult things.

Life of a zakirian

Likes

The infrastructure of my college is very good and the new building of zakir hussain delhi college is outstanding
It is the oldest college of delhi university
The ratio of girls and boys is good almost same

Dislikes

The new building is not opened yet and it is totally complete
The old building needs some renovation in both old buildings
The other gates are not for student use only one gate is there for entrance or exit

This course was not that i wanted and i am unsatisfied with this course but if you really want to study sanskrit then you can go for it as this course envolve deep study of sanskrit and you gain good knowledge about sanskrit language

An honest review about my Zakir Husain Delhi College

Likes

I really like that my zakir Husain Delhi college is the oldest college of the university of delhi
Teachers are so good, they really treat us like we are still in school, which I love
I like the new building so much that really has the movie kind of college vibe

Dislikes

I think they should do something work on old building (there are just a few rooms )
I think they should reconstruct the entrance gate of college
Sometimes I find the attached houses make noise

Placement Experience:

I think there are lots of opportunities to get placement except of 1st year students all can get placements some following companies come for placement cell: ICICI Bank Max Life Insurance Wipro Barclays Bank Genpact Edvizo Microtechcnc Arvind Brands Limited Main Frame Energy Solutions Pvt Ltd ( i just asked one of my batchmates he told me about these) I have not decided the future plans after the degree

As much as I could gather information about Zakir Husain Delhi College DU from some of my friends, everyone gives almost similar responses and reviews about the college.

In terms of infrastructure, the college has a chance to compete with the prestigious and leading colleges out there. The campus includes Wi-Fi, a magnificent green space, inspiring classrooms, elevators for those with disabilities, a canteen with an affordable menu, a mother dairy, and practice-friendly labs.

The professors are incredibly helpful for both personal and professional matters.

In today’s world, online education may be difficult, but they have adapted successfully. They are also excellent with offline material. The courses cover everything in detail and prepare students to take on real-world issues in the workplace. Exams during the semester are neither very difficult nor difficult. Students can pass with ease if they are properly prepared and have studied.
